MC Prussian Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 So, which team do you see following Wolverhampton and Birmingham into the Premier League? I'd love to witness either Burnley or Preston going up, the former have impressed me with their late cup success, holding up well against Premiership competition. But I do also fancy Preston going up for the first time in more than 45 years, as it would bring back a bit of nostalgia, with them being founders of the Football League, with their past as a top club and all that yadda yadda.
Koke Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I just think Burnley are in the right form at the right moment, unlike Reading. Burnley v Sheff Utd in the final. No idea who will win though. But I hope Burnley.
AyewJoking Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Sheff Utd or Reading, if not then Burnley or possibly Preston.
davieG Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Doesn't seem that long ago that Preston then Burnley hung on by the skin of their teeth to their Football League status.
Ultra Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I'd like to see Burnley do it, after they were robbed of a trip to Wembley in the League Cup. But I think the bully-boy blunts will triumph in the end.

DB11 Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Reading although I would love it to be Preston. Or Burnley because then we won't have to play them
Mickey O'Neil Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Really tough one...Burnley & Preston seem to have hit form. I wouldn't fancy playing Reading or Sheff either. I've plumped for Preston though. Just.
Bert Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Would prefer Sheff Utd to go up. Never like playing them really. Burnley = Turf Moor. Reading = Never been there. Preston = New lowest points total set in the Premiership.
C-man Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Anyone but the Blades please. Hopefully Reading with their Bowl Starter Kit will go up and leave the good away days for us.
Blue Foxes Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Sheff Utd or Reading, if not then Burnley or possibly Preston. Can't go wrong with that
MarkDeVries Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I said Burnley but I should have put Preston. Im not too fussed as long as it isn't Reading, just don't like 'um
Maybes Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Burn-er-ly. So much I might even have a cheeky bet on them
Ultra Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 Hope for Preston, but Reading are the best side. The league table suggests otherwise..
JakeShingler Posted 5 May 2009 Posted 5 May 2009 PNE PNE PNEEEEEEEEEEE PNE PNE PNEEEEEEEEEEE. Reading.
AmericanScott Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I'd like to see Preston or Burnley go up as it'll be interesting to see what happens to them with the big boys. I want Preston to go up more though, because of their history. If Burnley go up, it means we might actually have another home win in the Championship against someone else.
Gaffer Posted 6 May 2009 Posted 6 May 2009 I want PNE to go up, but i also have family up that way, and would like to gloat as city stuff 'em next season
