Matt Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Who's everyone saying then? Anyone had any bets? I've had a bet and am going for; Championship - Sheff Utd. League One - MK Dons. League Two - Bury.
Fox You Forest Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Shrewsbury v Bury was a decent game last night, can't believe Shrewsbury didn't score and the OG was comical.
Flynny Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 I watched Gills/Rochdale with a Gillingham fan last night, I'm supporting Rochdale though - 35 seasons in the same division. I'm surprised they still have any fans.
Guest Bilo Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Championship - Reading League One - Milllllllllllllllllllllllll League Two - Bury BSP - Cambridge

Fosse Boy Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 As someone who doesn't really agree with the premise of the playoffs I guess I should just hope that all those who finished third (or fourth in the case of League Two) go up, but in reality I'm hoping for Preston/Burnley, anyone but Franchise (preferably Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllll or Leeds) and Bury. Preston v Burnley and Bury v Rochdale finals would be awesome.

Matt Posted 8 May 2009 Author Posted 8 May 2009 I like playoffs, As much as it's the worst way to get knocked out and not go up, if you win it is the best feeling and best way of going up, unless you're runaway champions. The playoffs in my opinion the most nerve wracking but exciting games.
The Blur Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 I favour the following Burnley- Showed that they can give big boys a decent game in their several cup runs MK Dons- I don't want Leeds/Millwall to go up cause of their fans and S****horpe used to be in Championship before so someone else should have a go Bury- I remember they was struggling against relegation few years ago so their fans should be rewarded for their loyalty

I'm not saying should they go up they will flop - Although more than likely they will, but for example we were shit last season, worse than shit, yet we beat Villa, Gave Chelsea a game and got their arse's twitching, Did well against Fulham this season but unfortunately got beat in the same circumstances as the Chelsea game.
deepbluedevil Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Championship - Burnley League One - Leeds League Two - Bury

Want: Reading (keep proper clubs like Burnley, sheff u and Preston in our league.) Millwall and Rochdale Think: Burnley, ******, Bury
Ultra Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Sheff U Leeds Gillingham Would like to be wrong about the first two, though..
isaidno Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Preston must have the fattest front line in the football league
