Matt Posted 8 May 2009 Author Posted 8 May 2009 Championship - Preston 1 - 1 Sheff Utd FT First Leg. League One - Scunny 1 - 1 MK Dons FT First Leg.
CosbehFox Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Craig Beatttie will be lucky to make another appearance for Sheff U.
Craig Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Pleased with the results so far. I've got a fiver on.. Sheff Utd Dons Gillingham Cambridge at 70/1
Uncle Albert Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Really hope Sheff United can push on at Bramall Lane and get to the Final. Think I want Leeds to come up for some reason.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Must say, think we were the better team but still played absolutely shite. We hoofed far too often and looked weak in defence (understandably, we currently have one first choice defender, Dean Lewington, Sean O'Hanlon is out until Friday and Danny Swailes hasn't played since September, we have no first choice right back though). Sometimes our tactics baffle me, Wright has been crap all season and starts wheras Jemal Johnson has been a contender for player of the season and doesn't even get on the bench. Wright even pushes Puncheon off of the wing and into a 'playing off the target man' position. Will be expecting a much better performance at home on Friday and a decent crowd. Our away following tonight was not good at all, although it is understandable with most of our fans' working hours. I'm trying unbelievably hard to get off work for next friday's game but it's not looking good <_< Hope we make it through, I think Millwall in the final would do us nicely, the Leeds fans think they're already in the Championship

Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 691 away fans for a play off game - Get out of here Go easy on them, it was Champions League week.
C-man Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Go easy on them, it was Champions League week. Yeah but still, we'd take 691,000.
Fosse Boy Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Bet you weren't complaining in 1996 I know, hypocrite alert! Only they could fail to sell out a play-off away game.
Ultra Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 691 away fans for a play off game - Get out of here P!sspoor.... Whenever we've been in playoffs, EVERY away ticket has been sold.
Craig Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Only they could fail to sell out a play-off away game. Sheffield United managed to too
Matt Posted 9 May 2009 Author Posted 9 May 2009 MIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLL! C'mon Millwall, Although won't be to bothered if Leeds win over the 2 legs - aslong as they lose in the final and don't go up
Simi Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Row of Police horses followed by a row of Police on the pitch? Are they serious?!
Uncle Albert Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 I think Leeds will be a bit to strong for Millwall at Elland Road.
lildave3 Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Only caught the second half but thought it was a pretty good half, though Harris was quality. Whitbred was different class again too, absolute rock. Just need Milwall to get a draw at Elland Road now and Leeds will be in League 1 for a third year
Thracian Posted 9 May 2009 Posted 9 May 2009 Harris was immense. So cool. But how Delph escaped being sent off I don't know. Are there different rules according to the importance of matches? Reckless over the ball tackle. What's complicated? Send the bloke off. I've no sympathy whatsoever.
