lou Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 Apparently none of the players have a relegation clause in their contract, so if Newcastle do go down then no one has to take the usual 25% wage decrease (or however much it is) Shows what an arrogant club it is, they didnt even consider the possibility of relegation!! Hope they go down
Hullfox Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 Hull away was one of the worst away games last season. I think that you'll find that lunch was quite bearable.
J.Lisemore Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 Where is Middlesborough? They will stay up. Southgate, the savour will pull them through.......you just wait until next season when they are fighting for europe. Championship survival more like .
AyewJoking Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 Fergie to play "strong" team against Hull (according to todays Sun). Its fooking ridiculous Fergies under pressure to put out a strong team when he has the Champs League final 3 days later. Man Utd deserve to rest their players cos they've already done their job and won the fooking league. Hull havent done their job and are still fighting for survival - tough sh1t!!
lou Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 Hull away was one of the worst away games last season. It was but we had a cracking day out!! The lads taunting the Hull "slapper in the white" who was getting very wound up was more entertaining than the footy by miles
lookwhaticando Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 MASSIVE! Quite like Newcastle, they're good for a laugh at least. I hope they stay up.
isaidno Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 I detest Newcastle but I think they will stay up. I think they will get a draw at Villa and Hull will lose against Man Utd.
Ultra Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 I've said before and I'll say again that if Newcastle come down, they will become a financial disaster area of epic proportions, and will have to sell any player they can get a significant amount of money for. Under those circumstances, they could rot in the Championship for several years. Or even sink lower, as Leeds have done..
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 WBA, Boro, Newcastle and Hull will all lose on Sunday.

Katy Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Hull away last season was made by the woman in the white coat. But my God we were shite, going mental and cheering like a goal after our first shot on target in the 85th minute summed it up.Got a feeling newcastle will survive got pretty much the perfect fixture away from their ok passionate but lets fact it dounting fans to one of the worst PL teams of these last few months. But we saw West Ham win at OT to stay up so you never know. I wonder if it's still unreserved seating like it was when we last played them. Where is Middlesborough? They will stay up. Southgate, the savour will pull them through.......you just wait until next season when they are fighting for europe. This.
lildave3 Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 I wonder if it's still unreserved seating like it was when we last played them.This. Oh god, not more curly bits
Katy Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Oh god, not more curly bits Yep, created by the originator of curly bits himself as it happens.
lildave3 Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Yep, created by the originator of curly bits himself as it happens. Sickening.
Katy Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Sickening. It wasn't my idea. It's pretty cool I like it much.
maddog Posted 23 May 2009 Author Posted 23 May 2009 Martin remember this! Remember that. Also remember Lineker having a dig at Shearer on MOTD about it a few seasons ago when they were talking about awful tackles. Come on Villa!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Middlesbrough and Hull to stay up Presumably that's what you want to happen rather than what you think will happen..? Oh - spotted the poll, maybe not. Just seems like a strange prediction. Hope you're right though.
purpleronnie Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Well I predicted hull months ago so I will stick with them.
Brainy Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Presumably that's what you want to happen rather than what you think will happen..?Oh - spotted the poll, maybe not. Just seems like a strange prediction. Hope you're right though. It'd what i'd like yeah. I can see Boro sneaking a win tomorrow so it just depends what happens elsewhere.
lildave3 Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Well I predicted hull months ago so I will stick with them. Me too, but I also predicted Stoke
