DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Tough on Kisnorbo. He comes back from injury to find that not only is someone cutting his lunch, but the wife has sold the house as well.
Munzie Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Just add Dickov to the list and I'd be happy. Dickov's arse has the important job of warming the bench for all of next season.
scinnell Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Bit sad that Mckay left as a free 44 goals in 44 apearences for the reserves is good at any level and he good of been a good hot prospect
Mr Happy Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 No surprises there then. Sad to see N'Gotty go, I always liked the guy but its definately going to reduce the wage bill.
Walshy5 Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Ive always been a kisnorbo fan so im sorry to see him go I was hoping we,d offer him a new deal. We wish you all the best
SamL Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Coventry at home last year At Home to Crystal Palace as well.
dandannieldanok Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 At Home to Crystal Palace as well. Possibly one of the worst goals and worst games you're ever likely to witness.
Bluefoxtim Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Couldn't agree more, although Barry's excellent performance at Barnsley was the year we were relegated. Good luck Barry. Was it really? The win at Preston (when Nils scored at the death) then at Barnsley (Fryatt 1-0) was 2 season ago wasn't it? Barnsley had a pitch invasion and it was the day we both secured championship football. We all laughed at Leeds! ....or did we then go and play Barnsley at the same time the following season, win, then lose to sheff weds at home?

Barry only signed for us in January 2008, the Barnsley game you're thinking of was April 2007. It's the second Barnsley game you're thinking of.
leicesterseddon Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 I'm assuming Levi's got at least another year left on his contract - I can't see any reason not to release him now if his contract hasn't run out. I doubt there will be many takers for him...think the best he and the club can hope for now is a decent loan deal for next season before being released. He's still young enough to have a half-decent career somewhere else, although I've often wondered about his commitment...
craigadams22 Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Fair play to Leicester City releasing the older member's of the squad, And I was shocked at Kisnorbo leaving the club. But I think Nigel Pearson's got other idea's of which he's wanting to do

Not to be too pedantic but i'm sure this goal was credited as an own goal to Austin
Flynny Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 Not to be too pedantic but i'm sure this goal was credited as an own goal to Austin True that. Fryatt 'caused' the goal but didn't score it.
davieG Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Published Date: 21 July Northampton Town have signed striker Billy McKay on an initial one-year contract. The 20-year-old forward has was released by Leicester City at the end of last season despite impressing with a prolific record at academy and reserve-team level. He has spent the pre-season on trial at Sixfields, and done enough to earn a deal. Cobblers boss Stuart Gray said: "Billy is a lad with a terrific attitude and a real determination to succeed. "I am sure those fans who have seen Billy play in pre-season have been impressed. He is a player who impressed me when I saw him play a few times for Leicester reserves last season, and when we knew he had been released we invited him to join us for pre-season training. "He has an eye for goal and hopefully he will add more variety to the striking options we have in the squad."
Tevez Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Gone Northampton on one year deal (SSN) Always wished he played for first team but it wasn't to be. Good luck to the lad.
Fox92 Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Good luck to the lad, should do him well playing in League 2
Budweiser Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Scored a quality over-head kick typegoal against Coventry yesterday. Fantastic goal. Good luck to him.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 July 2009 Posted 23 July 2009 Saw Billy McKay at Stamford tonight in a pre-season friendly. Hit the post with one impressive header. A bit out of the game for the most part but rarely gave the ball away and was one of the better players on show. I hope he does really well for them. They've got ex-Leicester legend John Curtis on trial at the moment too. Northampton won 2-0 for what it's worth. Guinan and Harris (trialist from the US).
