SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We play Qatar on Saturday and only need a point to qualify with 2 games still to be played. The final game is against Japan on 17th which i will be going to. Who's your team playing and anyone going to any games.
Finnegan Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Australia Qatar is probably the only upcoming game less entertaining than Azerbaijan Wales.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 June 2009 Author Posted 5 June 2009 'Roos V Qatar will be a very dour affair i think, but who gives a fat rats clacker if we get a point cos i'll be streaking nude down my street around 4 am Sunday morning when that final whistle goes.
Koke Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We're playing Borat and his mates. 2-0 win in a dull affair.
Finnegan Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 I would love it if King miraculously got on for us and even more miraculously got a winner. I think Daggers would finally officially denounce his country of birth, tattoo CYMRO to his forehead and do cartwheels down Gallowtree Gate wearing nought but Y Ddraig Goch.
Radovan's Caravan Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Here in Voj we say if the England Football Team was a woman she would look like this: It makes no difference who the coach of the England team is or who the players in the England team are or what the final score is. The English style of play is a crime against nature and against humanity. And like my namesake the England team should be put on trail in the Hague before it sparks civil war in South Africa next year.
Lillehamring Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 gonna be watching (on tv) the FYROM v Norway game on saturday... currently bottom of the table, but win the games in hand and 2nd place.... i have a ticket for norway vs the jocks in august....
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 England v Andorra on Wednesday, I'm going Don't really care THAT much about England though, nowhere near as much as Leicester.
Bert Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Will be watching us play Kazahkstan in the Soar Point tomorrow, going against Andorra on Wednesday. Should be 6 points, with goals for and none against.
Joe. Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Should be a comfortable win you'd like to think. I'm going 3-0 England.
Father Ted Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Serbia at home to Austria. A win against Austria and then away at Faroe Islands on Wednesday would put us 8 points clear of France!!
shen Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Sweden - Denmark should be a fiery affair, especially after the match between them during the Euro 2008 qualifiers. Not feeling confident, especially with Laursen having retired and Agger doubtful for the match. That alongside the fact we don't have a recognised left-back and have some very hit and miss players on the wing... I'd be happy with a draw!
CosbehFox Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 England will be 2-0 tops. Has the recipe for a slip-up, five hours difference, lots of humidity, frenzied crowd.

Last time I followed Danish football was when Mogens Krogh was still playing, and Peter Møller was the dogs bollocks. When I lived in Denmark briefly I went to school with Morten Duncan Rasmussen. We used to call him Mini cos there was about 3 other lads called Morten who were all bigger than him in size and he was generally a whiny little cunt. He was a very good player to be fair and we knew he would make it the day AGF picked him up and by 9. Klasse he was streets ahead of anyone in our school. I had left the country before he made his professional debut. I was a tad bit surprised when I found out he was being compared to Duncan Ferguson - never knew he had that physical and heading ability in him. Fair play I say.
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We're a sour bunch aren't we. Played 5, won 5, including an away win in Croatia. And we go into an away game with Kazikstan predicting a dour game and scraped 2-0.

Leicester Rule! Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Going to Wembley for the Andorra game on Wed. Hows everyone else who is going on here getting there... We are on the 11:58 (i think it is) train from leicester.
Leicester Rule! Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 I think you're forgetting we beat Croatia because they only had ten men. 4-0 to us. I agree with what you are saying, but we were 1-0 up I think when they went down to 10 men. Saying that, had they had not gone down to 10, it might have been a different game, but you cant argue with winning 4-0 in a country where they hadnt lost in a ridiculous amount of time.

I take it you don't get sarcasm. Was clearly a joke, and Ii thought even before Simic was sent off we were good value. Oh and we won 4-1.

Im just hoping the stupid tube workers dont go on strike! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8082106.stm By the way, I just read this from someone who works on the tube. Might be worth checking out the buses. "no trains stanmore to wembley "
Darkzzz_ Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 I don't think I would ever go to an England game to be honest. I like them to do well but it is club all the way for me.

Finnegan Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 We haven't bt anyone bar Croatia with a good performance for the whole game. You use to ever watch Wales at the Millenium Stadium when they dropped the prices before?

Hence his name 'Duncan' obviously - but apparently it was his own doing? Tbh, I've never rated him and it was good that he got picked up by AGF as he probably couldn't have finished school Why did you live up here? what's wrong with allan jepson? mind you he hasn't been playing this season, i seem to remember him saying he wanted to go to Stabekk or brann or something? Deemed not good enough. And he's too old. Never got a look in because of Niclas Jensen. Now Michael Jakobsen is our first-choice left-back, but he's out injured. Along with Krøldrup, Tomasson, Laursen, Daniel Jensen, Søren Larsen, Andreasen and possibly Agger. Were trying our best to emulate Wales
