MarkDeVries Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 He said England would lose 1-0 <_< It was a joke because he said everytime he predicts the score, the team he wants to win, lose
StanSP Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 It was a joke because he said everytime he predicts the score, the team he wants to win, lose OOh I was only flicking channels and caught that bit about losing and then spotted the Leicester scarf. My bad
Ashley Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 The City-England support goes on and remains quality. This. Leicester are always one of the number of clubs in numbers at England games.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Ow I see, so this is the reason why Wembley seems to have a shit atmosphere because Leicester fans are there in numbers?
Craig Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 This.Leicester are always one of the number of clubs in numbers at England games. Yeah, i kept seeing a huge England/Leicester flag during the Kazakh game. It made me proud.
purpleronnie Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 I read their population is 82,000....Should be 5-0 at least, I'll go for 3-0.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 If Kazakhstan beat these 3-0. Then surely we could manage at least an 8-0.
Ashley Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Yeah, i kept seeing a huge England/Leicester flag during the Kazakh game. It made me proud. Thats the one what was at the game on saturday. (I think)
Radovan's Caravan Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 I forgot we've never won the world cup. More chance of winning something than you. You WON, past tense, WILL (never) WIN, future tense. You WON (past tense) the World Cup 43 years ago on home soil (ie without qualifying) in a 16 team tournament - the undeserving beneficiaries of some very generous refereeing (or should that be linesmanship). And that is partly why the English national team have never even reached a final of any of the 22 World and European tournaments since (you have failed even to qualify for 6 of those tournaments). Your current FIFA ranking of 6th flatters you. Serbia heads a more difficult World Cup group (that includes France) and is ranked 20th. I would say that at the knock out stages of the World Cup there are AT LEAST 20 sides in the world today that would progress at your expense. You have an over inflated view of your ageing players. The bulk of them may come from sides that dominate the Champions League but their success is due mainly to the efforts of their foreign legions. More crucially, your prodcution line (such as it was) has come to a halt. Rooney and Walcott are the only new players to have started their careers since the World Cup in 2002 to have established themselves in your shit national team Your main problem is that your kids no longer want to play. And of those that do the ones that don't make it to the academies can't find a way into the clubs. And those that get to the academies are badly taught by illiterate thugs who drive out the technical players. And the ones that finally make it... see their careers out at places like this. The picture couldn't be more different in Serbia (and the Balkans generally) - we are awash with YOUNG talent. So much so that even that old gangster Ferguson has managed to find his way down here. I sincerely hope that both England and Serbia make it to South Africa. You lot are in sore need of a lesson from a 'minor footballing power' to make you reflect on your deficiencies. It would be a very great honour indeed if the fates decreed that this task should fall to us. If for no other reason than to shut those Sarajevo slumdogs up about their Wembley triumph in September 2009.

Guest Bilo Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 You WON, past tense, WILL (never) WIN, future tense. While we haven't won anything since 1966, England have produced numerous world class players since then. Gascoigne, Lineker, Hoddle, Shearer, Beckham, Barnes, Owen (in his prime), Gerrard and Lampard. Let's not forget that Italy went 44 years between World Cups (1938 and 1982) and Spain went nearly fifty years before winning their second European Championship in 2008. Neither they nor Holland have ever won the World Cup, in spite of the former hosting it in 1982. Past underachievement does not necessarily indicate future lack of achievement. You just need your players to click over a four week tournament, if England do that in 2010, they'll be in with a shout. Your current FIFA ranking of 6th flatters you. Serbia heads a more difficult World Cup group (that includes France) and is ranked 20th. I would say that at the knock out stages of the World Cup there are AT LEAST 20 sides in the world today that would progress at your expense. The weakest argument in a generally weak post. France are a fading side, as anyone who watched anything of Euro 2008 will be able to testify. A poor side living on past glories coming to the end of its' life as a world force. If at least 20 sides would knock us out of the World Cup, you shouldn't have too much trouble naming 10 of them. I challenge you to do so. You have an over inflated view of your ageing players. The bulk of them may come from sides that dominate the Champions League but their success is due mainly to the efforts of their foreign legions. More crucially, your prodcution line (such as it was) has come to a halt. Rooney and Walcott are the only new players to have started their careers since the World Cup in 2002 to have established themselves in your shit national team. The reason why many younger players can't get into the side is because we already have experienced world-class players filling their positions. Gerrard and Lampard are still in their prime, and replacing a defender of John Terry's experience and ability would be madness. Walcott and Rooney are the two most famous examples of young players in the squad, but Young, Agbonlahor, Richards, Milner and Onuoha (you may remember the last one, a number of your moron fans were monkey chanting whenever he got the ball at the U21 Championships) are all future England stars. The recent performances of the England under-21 side (12 goals without reply in the last two games) should tell you that rumours of our demise are greatly exaggerated. Your main problem is that your kids no longer want to play. And of those that do the ones that don't make it to the academies can't find a way into the clubs. And those that get to the academies are badly taught by illiterate thugs who drive out the technical players. And the ones that finally make it... see their careers out at places like this. Bzzt! Wrong. Arsenal are producing players like Gibbs and Wilshere, neither out of their teens but both have seen Champions League action this season. Hardly Accrington Stanley v Macclesfield on a wet Tuesday night. Same with Danny Welbeck at Manchester United. Arsene Wenger has also said in Four Four Two magazine that he envies the man who will managing England at the 2018 World Cup, because the amount of talented players this country is producing will put us among the favourites to win the thing. The picture couldn't be more different in Serbia (and the Balkans generally) - we are awash with YOUNG talent. So much so that even that old gangster Ferguson has managed to find his way down here. Give me a list of world-class Serbian players. Nemanja Vidic....... I sincerely hope that both England and Serbia make it to South Africa. You lot are in sore need of a lesson from a 'minor footballing power' to make you reflect on your deficiencies. It would be a very great honour indeed if the fates decreed that this task should fall to us. We've already had a lesson from one 'minor footballing power' in Croatia. The performances put together under Capello suggest that lesson has been heeded.

Two more sides who made the European Championships last year. If we beat Faroe Islands tonight then we go 8 points clear. Nemanja Vidic, along with Dejan Stankovic (Inter Milan captain) are two of the oldest players in a very young team. Next year, you will se Tosic and Ljajic at Man U and possibly Nenad Milijas at Villa or Wolves. The Serbs are becoming a force in international football with a lot of young talent. If Miralem Sulejmani (who holds the transfer record in Holland and currently plays at Ajax) and Zdravko Kuzmanovic (a quality player for Fiorentina and was heavily linked with Arsenal last year) can't even get into the team aswell as Tosic not even getting a sniff then it proves his argument. I could go all day giving you a list of world-class Serbian players. Remember European Cup '91? Red Star won with players like Sinisa Mihajlovic, Dejan Savicevic and Dragan Stojkovic who all went onto great things. So before you disrespect Serbia and Serbs because they're are not as 'MASSIVE', think.
