DB11 Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Defoe isn't very good. Where's Fryatt? I know where the door is
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 FAO MR.CROUCH - YOU ARE A FUCKING JOKE.
WetFlannel Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Crouch is a machine. He blitzed through those defenders...
Shrenchel Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Just started watching this shit. Why are people booing Beckham? What have I missed?!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Thing is now iTV will crawl even further up his arse and all these pundits will waffle on about his sensational goalscroing record. Fact is, he brings nothing to the table. He might be tall but his ability in the air is woeful, I've never seen him head a ball with any conviction, in fact, I've never seen him head a ball. It hits him in the face. Flick ons go nowhere, there's no chemistry between him and whoever he's partnered with, and tonight, he's failed to convert chance after chance and has looked lightweight against a part-time defence. The sooner he fucks off to persue his career in male modelling the better.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Yeah easily Johnson. Obviously had no pressure on him but Beckham's passing tonight has been quality.

Unless Michael Owen and Dean Ashton has a storming injury free season next season, we are well fucked for the World Cup. I won't mind going to South Africa with Crouch as a sub, but we can't fucking start him. Defoe shouldn't even be in the squad for the WC. The 3 goals they scored today was 3 of the most clumsiest and lamest goals ever.
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Johnson was top notch tonight, I too thought Beckham's passing was exceptional.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Johnson was top notch tonight, I too thought Beckham's passing was exceptional. This. Johnson at right-back is a very interesting future option, would like to see how he fares against better opposition after tonight. Beckham's perforrmance tonight just shows why the loss of the pace isn't really a major concern, his game was never about pace because with distribution like that he's never needed to be Walcott quick.

Two years ago it was Lampard, not so long ago it was Ashley Cole, now it's Crouch.

Daggers Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Nice to see the squad of 66 finally get a medal. Pointless? They didn't play, they didn't win anything. It's the way it was, it's the way it should be imho. There again, we do now live in the Everyonegetsaprize Age.
