Milky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Yes Hawk Eye said out - but the Ump said no to that - so he is still unlucky to be given out for a catch.Who cares though? It's Ponting. Woop. He was only saying no to LB cus he thought he'd hit it. If he didn't think he'd hit it the LB would be back on.

Milky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 TMS said to the naked eye it looked like it was going down leg... It was hitting leg stump flush. I'm not having any of this unlucky business.
Corky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Definitely our morning. Pretty awful start, but then Anderson and Onions batted superbly to get us to 425. Ponting may have been a bit unlucky with the catch, but it looked very close to lbw. Flintoff's bowled quickly and we're on top, hope we can push home our advantage.

Fox You Forest Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Wasn't it supposed to be a washout today? Silly Lucy. I still would.
Corky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 First 3 overs of the day were good Impressed with Hilfenhaus I must say Roo, not sure about Johnson though. If Lee is fit for Edgbaston, will Johnson play?
surrifox Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 looking towards Lords- the sky is looking filthy- not much more play in my view

Tilley Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Bloody hell, did I just see that right? 31-2? Yes. Was 10-2. Rain stopped play, should be back on soon.
Milky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Sensational catch on the run. Heart in mouth moment that. Even Athers and Nasser went quiet.
Fosse Boy Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Sensational catch on the run. Heart in mouth moment that. Even Athers and Nasser went quiet. I evidently need to watch the highlights for this.
Milky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 I evidently need to watch the highlights for this. It wasn't that special. Very good though, and important more than anything.
Matt Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 :o Bloody Hell England, Calm Down, 111-5? What's that all about? Shouldn't we be making more hard work of this?
Fox You Forest Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Running off like a little school girl.
