Fox You Forest Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Broad at it now. Wrap Hauritz round the fingers a few times now.
marko Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Brilliant!!! quick Ricky, send on the physio to waste a bit of time
purpleronnie Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 I wish I could have seen pointings face when they gave him out.
marko Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Bye bye Brad, I can hear Ponting moaning about the lights already!!!
purpleronnie Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 (purpleronnie hopes no-one reads his post about Australia to get at least 400)
Corky Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Love that picture Superb bowling performance, especially from Anderson. Hope we can make them follow-on.
Salieri Posted 17 July 2009 Posted 17 July 2009 Only just found out whats been going on in the cricket today!! :w00t: Gonna watch highlights in a bit, looks like it was a fantastic day for England.
marko Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Looks like we're going to bat again, I can see this being a draw.
Fox You Forest Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Good choice, looks a very good day for batting.
Tilley Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Good choice, looks a very good day for batting. I'd probably have bowled myself. Keep forgetting it's only day 3. I can see someone winning this instead of a draw.
StanSP Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 I'd aim for about 250-300 if I were England. That will take them to about 650,725, meaning Aussies need about 475/500 to win. But they can't go too high just incase the bowlers fail and Aussies hold out for a draw.
Fox You Forest Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 I'd probably have bowled myself. No sign of any swing or movement this morning a good batting track, the weather looks more promising for bowling tomorrow. * too many tomorrow's.
Milky Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Not what i would've done, but it's still a nice postion to be in. We'll still have to bat well here or the Aussies could get a sniff. 400+ is chaseable on this wicket.

Milky Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Lets hope he's learned his lesson from the Windies also. Thankfully there's the best part of three days to go which makes that declaration easier. Botham isn't happy with this decision to bat, but it's a very strong position either way. Certainly nothing to complain about!
lou Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 God these 2 are boring.......... I was actually praying for Bopara to be out then! Highlight of the day Pontings dropped catch Come on start hitting the ball!!!!
Craig Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 I went for a powernap for an hour and 20 and missed about 25 runs With rain forecast for tomorrow and monday, we need to start getting on with it a bit. We may not have as much time as we were planning on having.
