Babylon Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Real Madrid possibly... is their policy to just sign everyone? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5409334,00.html
Part Of The Crowd Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Apparently Manchester United were on the verge of announcing his signing yesterday, and he announced on a Parisienne radio station that he was looking for a new challenge then went on about how good the EPL is.
foxoffderby Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Sky sports are saying hes about to sign for Real in a £30m deal....if they want Ribery too, were do they expect to play everybody?
GLC Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 What makes me laugh is real madrid can afford all these players because they have the backing of the spanish royal family, which means they can't go bankrupt
The Doctor Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 What makes me laugh is real madrid can afford all these players because they have the backing of the spanish royal family, which means they can't go bankrupt spend over £168m already though. utter madness.
Dr The Singh Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 On Lyon's website it's official for 35m Euros. Amazing, apparently Madrid are after Ribery aswell!!!
morris1234 Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 how real can expect this to work i dont know?! not saying it cant but signing all of these superstars is a bit silly, they were all stars at their former clubs and the team was built around each of them. We shall see if they can make it work or not!
DB11 Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 And now they want David Silva as Ribery costs "too much" wtf?
Fox You Forest Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 90m they want for Ribery is a rip. Only have themselves to blame..
Granno Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 They'll be in for Max Gradel next in an earth shattering £250m move.
Jon the Hat Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 What makes me laugh is real madrid can afford all these players because they have the backing of the spanish royal family, which means they can't go bankrupt It also costs them at least 30% less to pay them as there is a 20% tax band for elite sportspeople in Spain. Unlike our lovely 50% tax rate here. Who would have thought Gordon would take the premier league down a peg as well. And RM negotiate thier own TV rights (unlike the collective Prem deal) so make much more in TV revenue than the likes of United. Edit: Not to mention the exchange rate favouring Euro countries.
The Doctor Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 They'll be in for Max Gradel next in an earth shattering £250m move. make it 300m and i'll pay for a taxi to get him there myself.
Father Ted Posted 4 July 2009 Posted 4 July 2009 He is very overrated. His international record is hardly inspiring and was recently dropped for Pegguy Luyindula And the French League can hardly be a great measure of his ability. We will see.
StanSP Posted 4 July 2009 Posted 4 July 2009 I guess this means Huntelaar is leaving. A.C. Milan might be in for him as well as Luis Fabiano of Sevilla.
