Nickfosse Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 Does anybody know how many season tickets we've sold so far? My dad reckons it's a disappointing number compared to Ipswich, Norwich and Derby.
Ozwin Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 I was in the ticket office yesterday and the guy showed me the screen of what seats were available and practically all of the kop was taken up by season ticket holders.
foxoffderby Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 It annoyes me too, compared to Derby, even Norwich have got 19k + in League 1
Guest Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 It annoyes me too, compared to Derby, even Norwich have got 19k + in League 1 Many of their STHs renewed before Xmas; they have a direct debit scheme that is quite good, and encourages the fans to commit early.
Daggers Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 Many of their STHs renewed before Xmas; they have a direct debit scheme that is quite good, and encourages the fans to commit early. They have better monthly benefits too
davieG Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 They have better monthly benefits too They have Monthly Benefits, the lucky bastards why can't we have some?
Hullfox Posted 10 July 2009 Posted 10 July 2009 They haven't got me this year I'm off to watch Darlo.
Munzie Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 They have better monthly benefits too I bet they haven't got garden gnomes. 1-0 Leicester.
Fatbloke Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 Yeah give ME things free, give ME benefits, don`t sell anything in the shop at all, just give the things to ME, god forbid THEM making any money, just think about ME ME ME !

leicesterseddon Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 It annoyes me too, compared to Derby, even Norwich have got 19k + in League 1 And? The situation was the opposite a few seasons ago... Anyway, ST sales aren't the be all and end all. I mean Leeds barely have 10,000 STHs, but thousands of members and fans who associate themselves with the club, meaning they can still take fans all over the country and sell out ER for the bigger games, even in the 3rd Div.
ob1kanobe0 Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 Is the point more about how much a st costs rather than how many are sold? Chelsea probably take in gate recipts more than any club that sells more st/tickets and can still win the league etc.
Fatbloke Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 Yeah give davieG things free, give davieG benefits, don`t sell anything in the shop at all, just give the things to davieG, god forbid THEM making any money, just think about davieG davieG davieG !That's better. Do you have a cap of the correct size then ? it`s very arrogent of you to assume my comments were aimed specificly at you
Stuliasz Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 I think a lot of people were a bit pissed off with the manner in which they were put on sale this year. From the day the prices were announced, you didn't have much longer than a month to stump up the full amount for the discounted (frozen) amount and if you couldn't afford it you either had to save until the price went up by 5/10% or use the direct debit system with the extortionate admin fee. And this was supposed to be a thank you to the fans for their great support.
davieG Posted 14 July 2009 Posted 14 July 2009 Do you have a cap of the correct size then ? it`s very arrogent of you to assume my comments were aimed specificly at you Yes and it fits comfortably Apart from ST/Match tickets I don't have a problem with what they sell and how much they charge for it as you can choose to buy or not to buy where as with the match tickets we're all a captive audience and our loyalty should not be exploited.
Dr The Singh Posted 14 July 2009 Posted 14 July 2009 Do you have a cap of the correct size then ? it`s very arrogent of you to assume my comments were aimed specificly at you It's very arrogant to assume he has a cap, he may wear a toupay (sorry I don't know the spelling), wig or even a turban!!!
davieG Posted 14 July 2009 Posted 14 July 2009 It's very arrogant to assume he has a cap, he may wear a toupay (sorry I don't know the spelling), wig or even a turban!!! Wig & Cap Never mastered the turban, besides LCFC don't do one - do they?
Dr The Singh Posted 14 July 2009 Posted 14 July 2009 Wig & Cap Never mastered the turban, besides LCFC don't do one - do they? I don't think they do, but they do some gandhi flip flops to celebrate the diversity of the city..........................
Chrysalis Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 12500 sounds like an aweful figure, what was it last year and what was it last time we were in the championship?
Matt Posted 20 July 2009 Posted 20 July 2009 12500 sounds like an aweful figure, what was it last year and what was it last time we were in the championship? 13,000 rings a bell, i'm not certain though.
