It's one of the countries most famous landmarks. Regardless of how interesting it may be, you should be aware of it.

Stonehenge Wembley Stadium The Eco Dome over to you...thanks again how long are you in the UK for? obviously loads to see in London Tower of London, London Eye, Big Ben, The British Museum is a must (and free!!) boat ride down the Thames, Imperial war Museum (another free entry place), St Pauls Cathedral If you are going to Stonehenge carry on a bit further Cornwall/Devon are both brilliant places little fishing villages etc very scenic down that part of the world. Newquay, St Ives to name a few, eden project as well just a few suggestions how old are you? that could help in the recommendations
Phube Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 NOT Stonehenge... major disappointment. Eden Project (Eco dome) is okay... if you like plants... I suppose. My 3: Bradgate Park Edinburgh (not during the Festival) The Lakes

Guest Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 If you are going to go to Stonehenge, also visit Wells, Glastonbury (take a walk up the Tor, if it's a nice day, but mind the cows), and see the stone circle at Avebury.

It might be worth scouring the web for ideas, as there is everything from animal parks to vineyards here, and you will definitely find something for everyone.
lavrentis Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 Just don't always stay in London, theres alot more to the UK than London.
Edmund Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 London Dungeon is quality along with Madame Tussards if on a sightseeing venture in London. Be prepared to have your wallet butt fucked though.
