maddog Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Lets just sign him we could do with another striker. Or just give Dj a squad number. Or give Dickov a roll.
Bert Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Lets just sign him we could do with another striker.Or just give Dj a squad number. Or give Dickov a roll. Or, let Mr Pearson do the job he's paid. At the end of the day, you're a massive bumhole engineer.
Granno Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Or, let Mr Pearson do the job he's paid. At the end of the day, you're a massive bumhole engineer. beautiful.
Wilkesy Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Or, let Mr Pearson do the job he's paid. At the end of the day, you're a massive bumhole engineer. Thats a new one to add to the abusive phrases, good work
MPH Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 Typical, and fully anticipated unintelligent comments, that sound like the pedantic hysteria of an angry child. As I stated previously, you undoubtably cannot help yourself, and that is very unfortunate for you.As for the bit about your "undergrads"  You are obviously, also, some kind of deluded retard. Again, my sincerest sympathy. I look forward, with dubious anticipation, to the further ravings of a boring, social misfit. oi... Nick has far more respect on this board than you do... he has proven himself to be a valued contributor time and time again... whatever you have against him is clearly misguided. and get your own English language right before yo accuse someone else of unintelligent comments.... you cant look forward to something with dubious anticipation. du⋅bi⋅ous /ˈdubiəs, ˈdyu-/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [doo-bee-uhs, dyoo-] Show IPA Use dubious in a Sentence –adjective 1. doubtful; marked by or occasioning doubt: a dubious reply. 2. of doubtful quality or propriety; questionable: a dubious compliment; a dubious transaction. 3. of uncertain outcome: in dubious battle. 4. wavering or hesitating in opinion; inclined to doubt.
MPH Posted 16 August 2009 Posted 16 August 2009 What careth I, for the opinions of lesser beings? then why are you responding to Nick's posts and others? goodness me mate, think the old grey matter is decaying away a bit...
DarkTranquillity Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Possible run out for the reserves on wednesday night?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Possible run out for the reserves on wednesday night? I would hope so. No doubt that NP will want to have a look at him in action so I will be suprised if he doesnt feature.
DarkTranquillity Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 It would be nice for us to have a look at him after all this speculation!!
FilboFox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 1. Would he settle here in a foreign country? 2. Would he be suited to English football? 3. Does he speak enough English to be able to get on with the team? There are always serious concerns for me about bringing in forwards from abroad... the difference in quality and ability are so vast that he might just not hack it here.

Apparantly he said he was looking for a move to the UK, and should hopefully setle in OK. But the same could have been said for Tunchev last year and he got on fine! Don't know about the language side of things but Gradel and N'Guessan speak French so sure they can help him along the way.
JJ Whisper Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 He very much enjoyed playing last week, think he might be playing this week but not sure, I think he english is better than my french and Max and Dany could def help out in that respect. Its all about waiting now, if he gets offered a contract and if he decsides to take it
Jon the Hat Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 This needs to get a move on, I'm bored now. I am sure Nigel has your feelings in mind as he puts his squad together.
davieG Posted 17 August 2009 Author Posted 17 August 2009 Well you could read into this that he aint coming: From the MercNigel Pearson today ruled out any immediate moves to strengthen his Leicester City strike-force. City have been linked with Jermaine Beckford of Leeds and Luton's Tom Craddock, and last week gave a trial to Frenchman Yann Kermorgant. But Pearson confirmed there was "nothing happening at the moment" in regard to new arrivals at the Walkers Stadium. He said: "I don't like playing games by trying to say that we are bringing in people if we are not. "If the situation arises where we can improve the squad, for sure, we'll do it. "But, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, it's as simple as that. "We'll be striving as always to get the right blend but, if we can't improve on the squad, I'm not going to add to the squad just for the sake of it." City's clash at Ipswich on Saturday ended goalless, but Pearson's side had the better chances. Strikers Matty Fryatt and Steve Howard missed opportunities and centre-half Wayne Brown squandered the best opening of the game after just two minutes. Pearson said: "Whether it's a point gained or two points dropped, I'm not sure, but we are a bit disappointed because it would have been nice to have won the game as we possibly shaded it. "We had some good chances but we still didn't make their keeper work hard enough. There will be other days when we play badly and win. "We played some good football, especially in the first half, but they made changes in the second half and were more positive. I think there were two sides out there trying to win the game and that is a credit to both teams." Pearson says City will take the same attacking mentality into tomorrow night's clash at Sheffield United. He said: "It's very important to go into games with a positive mind-set and, if you go to places to shut up shop, it's very difficult to get results." Striker Matty Fryatt picked up an ankle knock but should be fit for the trip to Bramall Lane.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 It's NP. Can't read to much into it. Exactly. NP will not give anything away, he likes to keep his cards to his chest, if we sign him great, if we dont, I am sure NP knows what he is doing.
fatboy Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Think he's still here, but is awaiting an offer from NP, think it will be resolved soon one way or the other

NP will not give anything away, he likes to keep his cards to his chest, if we sign him great, if we dont, I am sure NP knows what he is doing. And yet: He said: "I don't like playing games by trying to say that we are bringing in people if we are not. So are you suggesting he only plays games by saying we're not bringing anyone in when we are?
Bert Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 I did mention in the knowitall thread that nothing was happening. Even when other people tried telling me different.
JJ Whisper Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Yann is still in Leicester and is playing on Wednesday, but is just wanting to get himeself fit after a bad injury he's at about 60% now, so aslong as he doesn't hurt himself any worse I happy he is still around
Ric Flair Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Yann is the Bruno Berner of last season. He'll sign for us in September.
Guest Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Yann is the Bruno Berner of last season. He'll sign for us in September. Will he also win us a penalty on a cold night up in the north east?
