Budweiser Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 http://football.le10sport.com/ligue1/la-li...eterre_339903_aIt's an interview of yann kermorgant, I'm tired, I translate not all this article He says that he did not trial in Leicester but he visited the facilities indeed Leicester staff have ever seen play and will him. But he has contacts in ligue 1 and that is his priority. He wants to go to a club soon and if he had nothing this week end he may be back in england this monday to discuss with staff. Why thank you good sir.
flanimal Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Maybe he's just trying to get a better deal for himself. All you need to do is say "this other team offered me so much" and then things escalate. Hope he comes in, he'd be the baack up to Howard (or maybe the superior to Howard) then all the options are in place.
Sirloin Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 He still sounds keen on a move to England from that, and says it will be sorted out in the next few days, so I imagine we'll know one way or the other by the weekend.
Smudge Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Google translation a bit too literal but you get the idea After his excellent season with Ligue 2 Stade de Reims, Yann Kermorgant stirs desires in Ligue 1 but also abroad. His case should be resolved in the coming days. Yann, can you discuss your current situation? Contrary to what has been said, I did not go to Leicester to carry out a test. The leaders of the English club have contacted me so I could visit the facilities. The leaders want me and I have seen play last season with Reims. This went very well, but there are also tracks in Ligue 1. Reference was made to the track lately Valenciennes ... That is one option among others for me. The coach knows me well since Boulogne led last season, but must first Valenciennes scouring its workforce. Furthermore, I still have two or three contacts in Ligue 1. Very few players have my profile, it opens perspectives for me. This can settle quickly, in Valenciennes or elsewhere? Absolutely, I hope to finalize this in the weekend, on the other hand, I may be back in England Monday to discuss with the leaders if I had nothing to do here in France. I can try to England in the future. Your contacts in Ligue 1 are promoted clubs? Not at all they are not promoted clubs. Out of respect for each of these clubs I will say no more. In case of failure of negotiations in France, England would be a challenge for you? Absolutely, England is trying a lot to me, discovering a new country, a new experience, speaking the language ... And then there, football is the top level! For my personal growth would be a good alternative. Finally your season Reims serves today ... Yes it is true, if it was not down I may have been better too. However, my injury at the end of the season and the results are perhaps that the wait is longer about me despite contacts. This year it may be longer than usual, since the market started late and clubs are careful not to end up with actual overloaded. Where are you in your preparation? I leave a tear that I reached the end of last season. I am therefore entitled to resume training since Wednesday. I did not want to take risk and treat me as a tear is quite long. I took the race on my side and it is not a preparation in an athletic club. It will take hard work horsewhip if you join the Ligue 1 ... Of course, I am aware, but I also know it will take for me to prove myself, I will not start as owner I guess!

Budweiser Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Sorry this is a pointless post but OH MY GOD that is so funny
flanimal Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I'll send Kermorgant a message on Facebook, a real nice one. Make him think all the Leicester love him already. I hope Babelfish is up to it!

Sirloin Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I'll send Kermorgant a message on Facebook, a real nice one. Make him think all the Leicester love him already.I hope Babelfish is up to it! Post what you want to say and I'll translate it for you. Well, I'll try anyway, but rusty, but probably still better than Babelfish.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Post what you want to say and I'll translate it for you. Well, I'll try anyway, but rusty, but probably still better than Babelfish. Dear Yann, Milan Mandaric has got your wife and kids. If you want them freed you must sign a 3 year contract with Leicester City Football Club. Best Wishes, The fans of Leicester City Football Club
flanimal Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I'd post him a message that was slightly sycophantic and generally mawkish. Something to fill his ego and make him warm to us Leicester supporters - who never boo our players, ever... *cough*
theoxonfox Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I can't believe he'd choose a little french club over us?surely we must pay more?or is he one of them rare players where by moneys not important?
theoxonfox Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 I know i keep going on about yann kermorgant, but if he came over to see our facilities then he wouldve seen that they are first class and much better than whats on offer to him in france?

Best Wishes, The fans of Leicester City Football Club Cher Yann Milan Mandaric a votre femme et votre enfants. Si vous les voulez libériez, vous devez signe un contrat de trois annees avec Leicester City. Les supporters de Leicester City. I think, probably needs some more accents.
CosbehFox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I can't believe he'd choose a little french club over us?surely we must pay more?or is he one of them rare players where by moneys not important? Little? They are the equilvant of say Blackburn or Fulham. Hardly little. Go to your country's top division or play for a newly-promoted side at a lower level?
MPH Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 maybe his kids are in school, maybe they cant speak any english and so it would be a big upheaval to take them to England, maybe he doesnt want to come on his own... maybe his wife doesnt want to come to england.... maybe he realises he will be back up and not a first choice striker? its alot to consider just to be warming the bench... dont think its just about size of clubs..

No, it specifically says in that interview that was linked that he liked the idea of moving to a new country, learning a new language.
lcfcrinaldi Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 No, it specifically says in that interview that was linked that he liked the idea of moving to a new country, learning a new language. He might have liked the idea of it but having looked into it more then finding out that England isnt quite as nice as the south of France.
