I quite like Southgate. Why do you think he's a bad manager?

Dignified, likes his team to play football in the right way. They were unlucky to go down last season - they created enough chances but they just couldn't score. Bad in defence too.

Southgate will sort them out and they'll go back up in my opinion.

To be fair, I don't just want us to sign any old stiker but we've had all summer to get this sorted and I'm fully aware that it might take a while to find the right player but this is an on going problem from last season and although we wrapped up promotion fairly late on, it was all but nailed on that we would be back in the Championship so all the scouting etc should have been started months ago and we shouldn't be left in this position just one week before the opening game.

Maybe if Pearson or whoever swallowed their pride and played Campbell we could have sold him by now or at least had an alternative to you know who. Whoevers behind this has well and truly messed up our start to the season.

Getting ridiculous now, with one week to go and Fryatt not match fit, we're facing the very real prospect of Dickov having to play. I don't care what anyone says, the situation is far from ok.

Well that just exposes Pearson's poor preparation, if you don't have a choice before the season even has started it doesn't bode well.

... and N'Guessan looks like he might do the business.

We can give him 4-5 games surely.

Ifs and buts, I'd rather everyone stick to their proper positions.

i think getting relagated 2 league 1 has stripped us of all credibility. i hope to god we dont end up like sheff wednesday. think we gotta hope that fryatt and howard do the business for us, cant really see us getting anyone better than those 2 tbh.

yeah the same sheff weds thats been outside th top flight for 8 odd years and hovering in and around league 1 with no money and shit players. prob would be happy with 12th this season tho.

The same wednesday who got taken over by the nice rich businessman who is going to develop them well, finished very respectably last season and only just missed out on play offs the season before.... Your first few posts have been a little loopy to say the least..
