Go me. Do you use the tactic creator thing?

Then I used it for the first time in my current season (my 4th) on a 4-4-2 diamond, and it's worked an absolute charm. Haven't looked back since. It does help however that I have Acquafresca, Pacheco, McGeady and Sandro in my side .

Beating Derby 2-0 at half time, Robbie Savage gets sent off on 47 minutes, lose 4-2. Beating Reading 4-0 with 20 minutes to go, scores 3 but I manage to hang on to a 4-3 win. WTF!

I had back to back 7-1 victories, a 5-5 and a 8-3 defeat all in one season! This doesn't take account of the 4-3, 3-2 that I've had. I might do a screen dump of my results from my Championship season later.

Wilkesy Posted 18 November 2009 Posted 18 November 2009 I have just finished my 1st season with Leicester, which ended with a 10-9 penalty shoot out defeat to Newcastle in the playoff semi finals. My keeper Seb Viera missed (penalty taking attribute = 1) after Steve Harper had scored his spot kick for the toon. My starting eleven at the end of the season was (4-4-2): GK - Viera DF - Neilson, Hobbs, Tunchev, Berner MF - Weiss, Oakley, Wellens, Zenden FW - Viduka, Fryatt Not looking to make too many changes this season, just got to keep hold of my better players and hopefully i can push on for automatic promotion as i really do hate the playoffs!

I don't know how many players you brought in but if you sign a shit load of players in a short space of time they will not operate as a unit and will concede more goals. You need to give time for them to blend, which does bring me to one little qualm. Why do foreign players always find it hard to settle in?

I got a bit carried away with the signings, my line up for my first league game of the season is: GK - Viera DF - Neilson, Hobbs, Tunchev, Sylvinho MF - Sarki, Dalla Bona, Wellens, Boa Morte FW - Viduka, Saha Also signed: Mihaylov, Tiendalli, Leon and Harewood.

And managed to win my first trophy (discounting the Championship, obviously) by beating Spurs 2-1 in the FA Cup final. Lost 4-3 to Arsenal in an epic League Cup final, and went out of the Europa League 3-2 on aggregate to eventual champions Roma. Good solid season for me, that.

Premiership season isn't going that well, as I'm 19th after 10 games! Saying that I have played Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea of those 10 games. My current team is: GK: Weale DF: Magnin, Ben Haim, Tunchev, Neilson MF: Deco, Riquelme, Rosikcy, Rivaldo FW: Obinna, Fryatt SUBS: Walker, Dorsin, Simpson, Mokoena, Diop, Shelvey, Kermorgrant, Gislason I got excited and signed a load of free attacking players and then signed even more transfer listed attacking player. Lesson learned here .... don't sign too many players.
