So, I thought I am not having a player who doesn't want to be here at the club so I put a 3million pound asking price on him. Portsmouth offered me 1.5million pounds plus David Nugent! Accepted it. Summer 10/11. DJ Barry Hammond Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Suffering from second season syndrome with Atalanta, wouldn't be so bad but my first season wasn't great finishing 14th after a run of not being able to win for toffee. I've made the usual mistake of buying far too many players, mostly attackers which upset the balance and tinkering with tactics insensintly until I go back to my original tactic. I couldn't help it, so many bargins; Aquefresca for 2.7 million, Benjani for 700k, Tosic for 3.5 million, Luiz Adriano for 2 million and some other italian attacking centre midfielder for 2 million. At least I seem to have eradicated the far to often occurance of leaving far too much space in behind for teams to just pump long balls in behind.

Lost to Barnsley 2-1 in the 95th minute. Still can't defend on it. EDIT: Just threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Charlton.

Since you just bought British-based players it didn't seem like it Larsson for 8 mil is a bit steep, hence I thought you didn't run other leagues And it does take an age to run. Have 110k players loaded in my current game, with at least 6 running leagues, which makes it a bit slower than it's predecessor.

Also signed Willy Topp, Sean Doherty and Stefan Milojevic on frees. Also got Luke O'Neill and Magnus Eikrem on loan. Any other recommendations. 11k in the bank Absolutely dominating the BSP now. Tom Craddock and Willy Topp are banging them in. Sanchez Watt is an inspiration . Scored 41 in 16 games (team not just above players). Only lost 2 and let in 14. And 8 points clear at top. Got a replay away at Cheltenham. Should be tough but hoping to get a lucky goal!

I think with LD3 its more in jehst(if you will excuse the name steal) than anything. With milktray he is just an annoying bore that I cant shake off. To be fair LD you didn't honestly expect me to check through the whole thread before posting about hitting the post did you??
