Ways to make money online

Has anybody got any tips or had any success in the past?

I have tried Ebay and made good profit but in the end got bored and didn't have enough time.

I've also tried Ciao but you have to write an awful lot of reviews to get any money.

Has anybody found a good, secure survey site or rewards site?

Well to earn anything decent it would take a hell of a lot of time and a lot of luck.

I'd say Ebay would be your best bet, but you say you got bored.... and filling in cash surveys for 5p a time wouldn't be?

Betting. Finally got one of my accounts up to 100 quid today

Forgot how much I originally put into the account, It certainly wouldn't have been any more than 20 quid, Reckon it was probably a tenner or summit though.

I keep seeing these Google things advertised. Where apparently you pay £1.99 or something daft, and then somehow by posting links on websites, you earn thousands. lol

It's either ridiculous, a scam, or a ridiculous scam.

Unless you win the lottery of course.

Spot on :) Easy come, easy go - if there is a quick way to make money it is most likely a scam. Winning in poker or betting is partially _luck_, partially knowledge and as always : hard work. :)

No it is not if you play enough hands/tournys in poker and are get your money in ahead most of the time you will make money.

I play them $11 double or nothings on PartyPoker. 10 players and top 5 get $20 each. Not much winnings but I have 3 games at the same time and after 5 hours normally make about $80 profit. I withdraw around a couple of hundred a week and can't remember the last time I had to put money in.

There's plenty of idiots in those games who bet crap cards and bluff all the time. Just sit back and you'll catch em out eventually.

There isn't :D

I did win 2 poker tourneys in a row once, $1 buyin, 2000 people in each, came away with about £300. Can't remember how many dollars it was then, $600 or there abouts probably.

I also made £50 from playing poker freerolls and then withdrawing the cash, without ever depositing, but it takes ages to win it.

And have dabbled in a bit of ebay, making a few hundred selling various things, and made £533 profit on 2 Michael Jackson Tickets, then the fooker went and died so i had to send him his money back :giggle:

Ask Unit. He knows how to make some good money online. I'm sure he'll stumble into this thread in a few hours

Odds of that? haha

Nah i've not been able to do any decent online money for AGES now, made about 40 quid in a couple of weeks on cashback.co.uk doing the free stuff but that's it. Google ads is the way to go though, i'm blacklisted :(

btw can anybody have a look and see if they can get on paypal? i can't.

I would keep an eye out for any holes in the internet store market...

even somthing simple and cheap made abroad could be sold in the UK for a profit.... or the other way round, i guess

i dunno... this is just a rough guess and you could choose anything, really...

5 years ago when i went to visit my brother in seattle he asked me if i could PLEASE bring some Yorkshire tea with me. He told me for a box of 80 yorkshire teabags, he could only find them at at a specialist store that stocked English items for 40 dollars.

I went to Makro and bought a huge bag containing over a thousand for 22 pounds and took them with me... he worked out out that would of cost him 500 or so dollars... He told me he met so many English people who missed certain things from England that they couldnt find anywhere in the states. There must be ex-pats in just about every country in the world missing certain items from back home they just cant find anywhere....

you just need to work out what they are., develop the website ( or internet shop on ebay) and off you go... You dont even need to stock the items- you just need to know where to get them from and with somthing like ebay you practically already have the money to spend before you need to buy the item...

anyway.... its somthing i have always wanted to do...

Arbing.

Backing high, Laying low using Betfair.

Look on oddschecker at around 9:30am, when prices are first published, have another look around 10am. If there is a horse that has been slightly backed, odds are by time of the race, the odds again would have shortened. Back it as early as possible, and lay as late as possible.

Even if the horse has only moved a fraction, you have made profit.

There are also 'bots' available on the internet that will monitor movement and 'lay' a horse for you if you set it.

For instance;

You back a horse at 3/1 at 10am, by 11am the horse has moved to 2.8/1 - that's instant profit if layed off at that price.
