MauriceJobson Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Crystal Palace at home. Preferably with a highly dubious winner 5 minutes into 4 minutes of injury time, blatantly offside and punched into the back of the net by Tunchev. Purely to see if we can make "Colin" spontaneously combust on the touchline. I will never forget his reaction following Brian Deane's goal at Sheff Utd,after Clarence had forearm smashed about 3 of their players in the build up, I'm sure he was pretty close to having some sort of seizure that day.
Fox92 Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Sheffield Wednesday or Sheffield United away because they are the bigger clubs to my home town and everyone at college supports them near enough, well apart from the Chelsea/Man United fans. When I was at school as well, many people also supported Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, some of my top mates. But the thing is, they do my head in. They go on about how good they are, even if they loose 9-0 and it really gets on my nerves. When they beat us, they go on about it for weeks and when we beat them (once in a bluemoon) they say well we played you off of the park but you scored two lucky goals etc. Obviousley, because they are the closest bigger clubs to me, beating them is lovely but loosing, oh, I cannot stand the pain of those fans
leicesterseddon Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Derby away - preferably 4-0 or something like that, with lots of close-up shots during the highlights of that dynastic carpetbagger Nigel Clough and his smarmy little face Don't see why people care that much for beating Newcastle...
Guest Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Forest, Cov, Derby or Newcastle away. "If you could choose one game..."
Fosse Boy Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 I'll flip a coin between the obvious two. Heads it's Forest away... Tails it's Derby away... Derby away it is!
Bilo Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 I'll flip a coin between the obvious two.Heads it's Forest away... Tails it's Derby away... Derby away it is! Beating Forest or Derby away would be special. Even a shit season can be made to look good by success in local derbies. Didn't care about Newcastle last season, don't care about them this season. The desperation of some to beat them seems to pander to their own idea of being a 'big club' and can only cause Leeds Syndrome to spread to Tyneside. Beating Cov would be good, but the two games against them won't be anything like as meaningful as the two against Florist and Direby.

Although the Geordies do get hysterical more easily than Dirty Leeds, so there is some comedy potential.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Forest Away... or Peterborough only cause i want to actually celebrate a goal in that away section!
Daggers Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Bristols and Plymouth for a great week in the South West.
CosbehFox Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Peterborough away which leads to them to immediate relegation. We can see 'We're going up! up! up!' Just like they did to us and then reverse the song into 'you're going down! down! down!'
Basingstoke Fox Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Reading away, I would fooking love to get one over the locals! Failing that Newcastle as I'm mates with a couple of toon fans.
Webbo Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Plymouth, home or away. All those wankers who signed up when we were relegated will be on here rubbing it in if we lose.
milan_foxes Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Forest Away. They think there going to do so well this season would love to shove the championship trophy where the sun dont shine at the end of the season :fox:
lcfc_jme Posted 6 August 2009 Posted 6 August 2009 Forest away for definite. It's definitely my biggest game this season what with me living in Notts.
