:D Yea that group did come up after the game.

The match was never going to be any kind of entertainment with his seemingly random whistle blowing. I'm just glad we got the big decision. :D

Bring on Chaventry.

Hope it will be a draw, one of those games I don't want either side to win.

And I hope Newcastle win tomorrow. Do you? :D

I'm fairly certain those sheep worriers are dying to do us a solid and beat the toon and for once, I think we'd all be wanting them to win....can't see it happening though. :D

3-0 for Derby! Where the hell did that come from?

5 wins in 7 games for us under Alan Irvine after beating Blackpool tonight. We're still only 2 points away from the relegation zone though. <_< It shows what a grand job Brian was doing for us. We'd have been dead and buried if he was still at the club.

Apparently Newcastle are really bad away from home, and they were expecting this kind of result any time soon, just happened to be tonight.

It's their home form that has kept them up at the top.

Irvine is doing awesome at your club. Still don't understand why Preston got rid.

I'm with Forest all the way on this one, Come on do what you did to us to them! Please :fc:

For real? Cov are fuc king nobodies going nowhere, ever. Forest need cementing in the play-offs as if we do creep in, they're the only buggers I'd want to play. Very glad Cov won, 2 defeats on the road in 2 now for the branches.

Great to see Wednesday pushing up the ladder too.

Oh and Cliff Byrne got sent off tonight, what a nonse. Terrific 4 days for him.

Thanks Coventry and (grudgingly) D*rby, done us a favour tonight.

Yep.

Looks as though Forest's bubble is beginning to burst at last, and their more arrogant fans who had begun saving the Emirates and Old Trafford in their sat-navs for next season in January may have to rethink a little. If they miss out on promotion, I can see them lashing out at Davies due to the false raising of hopes brought about by a local media still rimming them for what happened in the early days of the Thatcher government. If that happens, he will most likely cock off to a club that appreciates him. With potentially tough games against Doncaster, Sheffield United and an improving Middlesbrough side on the horizon, it could be a long month.

bad results in those games could really destroy them before we play them in 2 and a bit weeks time.

They'll beat United at the City Ground. They are in turmoil off the pitch at the moment. It's starting to affect on the pitch results now too. :giggle: Radio Sheffield has been comedy gold the last few weekd.

heheh :D Can't see that happening, as most of us would've been happy with mid table crapness this year. We'll go back to grinding stuff out like we can and did against the wendies. Last night was one of those Arsenal type performances where we had the ball almost all the time but didn't really create too much and they scored their best chance.

Billy's picking sides he thinks can win the game and not necessarily our best side. I think in an effort to keep the majority of them fit. Last night, Garner started and Moussi played in another rare start. Personally, I'd prefer it if he played our strongest side every game.....probably why I'm not a manager. :)

You're one of the more sensible Forest fans but you certainly have an element of fans who still think it's 1980 and a third European Cup is but a couple of seasons away. I've had the misfortune of speaking to them on more than one occasion. Don't get me wrong, only an epic implosion would see you finish outside the play-offs and I can't see that happening for a second. Once in the play-offs, it's anyone's game as everyone knows. Whether the fans who were getting ridiculously over-excited on Facebook etc will accept that after you spent much of January threatening top spot though is another matter. Davies' words about your lack of readiness for the Prem could well be used against him by the ****** who follow your club like everyone else. They may have little intelligent to say, but they do speak loudly whichever club they attach themselves to. (As you can hear on RL moan-ins and read on this forum after any set-back.) It's something that could happen, especially if you reach the play-offs and are knocked out before Wembley, perhaps more so with yourselves than us due to your high flying status at the turn of the year and the money spent.

We all have our ******. :) The reaction after we lost to Direby was spectacular. Instantly the previous 20 games unbeaten were forgotten and we were nw heading for a relegation dogfight. As for BD's words in the press I don't listen cos it's all nonsense and at "an evening with...BD" he said so himself. If I'm being honest, his random press rambling annoy the hell out of me and I wish he'd just shut up from time to time.

We don't want the play offs. We don't like them, and they don't like us. I'd sooner not bother and wait another year then go through another Sheff utd or......I can barely say it.....Yeovil.

 If they are lucky enough to get there and you get the Blunts in the playoffs you'll be fine. They have NEVER won a playoff final. They are officially the only club in the country who have lost in the playoffs at the Old Wembley, Cardiff, and the new Wembley. :crylaugh: Quite an impressive record!

hehe :) That's if we can get to the final. At various points we were 2-0 up against both the Blunts and Yeovil and still mange to cock it up in spectacular fashion.

4-1 finish.

We obviously caught them on two very bad days. Or we're better than we're think.
