Corky Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Was an entertaining game, Baggies had plenty of chances to win it but Palace had two great opportunities in injury time. All to play for on the last day, can Wednesday get the win? I think they will.
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Fortunately you don't have to decide that's why they'll be playing Thank the Lord for setting up such a grandiose finale...
StanSP Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 Thank the Lord for setting up such a grandiose finale... Just be glad we're not part of that grandiose finale!
Edmund Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 Ridsdales off That means they wont be facing administration.
Simi Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 So brutal that Palace could get relegated because of the incompetence of the officials in that game against Bristol City.
Edmund Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 So brutal that Palace could get relegated because of the incompetence of the officials in that game against Bristol City. I completely forgot about that. Another reason why goal line technology should be introduced.
StanSP Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 The season is based on 46 games though (and 10-point deductions) - not one decision.
purpleronnie Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 I completely forgot about that. Another reason why goal line technology should be introduced. But who knows for sure if it would have got them 3 points?
Shrenchel Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 I'm sure Wednesday have probably had a goal wrongly ruled offside or summin over the course of the season. Swings and roundabouts.
Edmund Posted 1 May 2010 Posted 1 May 2010 I'm sure Wednesday have probably had a goal wrongly ruled offside or summin over the course of the season. Swings and roundabouts. Yeah most clubs have been fucked over at some stage but not comparable to that decision which went against Palace hence why so much fuss was made over it. That referee and linesman should be used as specsavers mascots.
StanSP Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Leon Clarke equalised for Sheff Weds then went off with what looked like a toe injury. Was flicking back from SSN and saw he'd taken his sock and boot off . 1-1 at half time in that match.
MC Prussian Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Cardiff losing 1-0 at Derby. Just six more goals from us and we're in fourth. S****horpe have just hit one past Smith. 2-1 down still.
MC Prussian Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Blackpool in the play-offs. Swansea couldn't hit a barn door. A dull 0-0 against Doncaster has them miss out on the post-season by one meagre goal. It's Nottingham Forest vs. Blackpool and Cardiff City vs. Leicester.
VinceNoir Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Haha, Blackpool fans acting as if they've won the play offs!!!!
MC Prussian Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 And Heartbreak Hotel for Sheffield Wednesday. Going down to League One after a 2-2 draw at home - their final Championship game at Hillsborough for the next 14 months. Hopefully, they'll play Leeds United twice next season.
MC Prussian Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Swansea had a goal disallowed in extra time You just don't get to the Premier League with only 40 league goals scored in one season.
Fosse Boy Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Palace mate's facebook status. Got on the pitch, grabbed half the fucking squad, wasn't allowed paddymacs shirt and got cracked by a dirty northern bastard.. O and going down, are we fuck, minus 10 and we're staying up!
StanSP Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 You just don't get to the Premier League with only 40 league goals scored in one season. True! Shocking scoring record.
