Radovan's Caravan Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 What's all that about 'wet Wednesdays in Blackpool' and being 'dragged down to their level'? This is where the Championship comes into its own. It's almost like its near namesake 'The Champions League' with all those midweek fixtures but without the moolah and the razzamatazz (and without the fans too as they prefer to watch that pale imitation league on the telly). Can't wait for The Great Helmsman Shearer to steer his club expertly on to the Northern Rocks...
C-man Posted 18 September 2009 Posted 18 September 2009 The Sheffield Derby tonight. Can't wait. OWLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Bert Posted 18 September 2009 Posted 18 September 2009 The Sheffield Derby tonight. Can't wait.OWLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. What a game it seems to have been!
C-man Posted 18 September 2009 Posted 18 September 2009 Well that was a right good game. Second half was epic. Marcus Tudgay and Etienne Essajas were immense. What did Tudgays shirt say when he scored?
Corky Posted 18 September 2009 Posted 18 September 2009 Well that was a right good game. Second half was epic. Marcus Tudgay and Etienne Essajas were immense. What did Tudgays shirt say when he scored? I thought it said "4 u Danny".
AjcW Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 at that kid, must be about 6 or 7 shouting get sturock out right in his face
CosbehFox Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 Piss poor game between Forest and Plymouth.
Tommeh Posted 28 September 2009 Posted 28 September 2009 Went Wednesday - Cardiff on saturday. Cardiff were total shite, got a lucky break with a penalty and otherwise just punted it up to Bothroyd with Cropra out on the wing! Etienne Essajas was a serious player for Wednesday, like a good Danny N'Guassan. Varney was great too.
Matt Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Could Ipswich win their first game of the season? Currently 3-1 up v Sheff Utd, Nearly bet on Ipswich to win tonight at 5/1 aswell but thought better of it. Surely they can't lose from 3-1 up, can they? In other news, Cardiff 6 - 1 Derby

Matt Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Feel bad for laughing but Sheff Utd 3 - 3 Ipswich.
Corky Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Keano now bottom, oh dear. Big wins for Barnsley and Plymouth.
Fox92 Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 The League 1 Champions win at Middlesbrough, just relegated from the top flight. It just shows that anyone can win the league and that West Brom, Newcastle and Middlesbrough arn't as good as what people make out. Yes, they can have off nights where they are simply not good enough, all of them, but alltogether, those three teams are going to run away with the league because there is a too bigger gap between those and the rest within the division. However, yesterday night just shows how teams can close the gap (although it probably won't happen) - Barnsley beat West Brom, we go to Middlesbrough and win. Anyone fancy Queens Park Rangers tonight? Still can't believe that we loose at home to Preston, Reading, who are rubbish, win at Preston and we go to Middlesbrough and win - but that's football for you! - We all live in the Coca-Cola League .... I wish not.
Bert Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Newcastle 1 down at home and have just had a penalty saved.
Fox92 Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Thought QPR were going to win yesterday, wish they did. Glad Forest won.
davieG Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Forest have just pushed us down to 8th by beating Newcastle.
maddog Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Wow we've wasted another fantastic chance today. Boro, Preston, Sheff Utd, Newcastle all lose and Cardiff draw yet once again we don't take advantage. The playoffs are slowly drifting away for me, we have wasted a lot of points recently, i'm desperate for us to win Tuesday and start a run going. 6 points in the last 6 games is relegation form.
RedHux Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 four wins in four games for for us. The sun does seem to have his hat on. Going to be an interesting game on the 5th of Dec.
maddog Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Only team above us who won today were West Brom. Really costly to draw again today. We just seem to be 'accepting' it, it's like the players are like we are 8th, we aren't supposed to be challenging for the playoffs we are a newly promoted side, so they aren't desperately trying to win every game. Fans on here seem to accept these poor results just because of our position in the table and where we were last season, but it's just not good enough. I will be really pissed off if we don't win Tuesday. A fantastic performance and a stunning, classy victory. Every player in our side playing out of their skin, charging around looking like they really want it. And blasting the ball into the goal.
maddog Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 How the fook has IH got his Blackpool squad full of players, every single one of them would struggle to get into our team, playing so well, winning games and 5th in the League. They all are sprinting round looking really passionate like they want to win and play for Ian Holloway, and how come that didn't happen when he was here. Crazy.
