Five into four doesn't go

If Manchester City break into the top four this year (or anyone else for that matter), who would you like to drop out, and who do you think will drop out?

I'd love to see Manchester United fall out of the top four. If it happens (which I doubt), I think it might be Liverpool.

I'd like it to be Chelsea, but they'll be safe for a while.

Arsenal look in most danger, especially if Celtic knock them out of the Champions League.

United or Chelsea, not through any dislike but just because it'd be more interesting. Then Liverpool, then Arsenal.

Incidentally though I'd love it if Man City were pipped by Everton.

I actually think Arsenal will surprise a few this season, I can see them finishing second or third. Most people seem to see them as being the most vulnerable of the top four, but the new 4-3-3 formation Wenger is implementing in pre-season suits them a lot better. Gives them an extra body in central midfield and puts more emphasis on possession football at which they are the best in Britain. They have far better strength in depth than they are credited for and if Eduardo can stay fit and Rosicky can get fit, they'll have two "new signings" that most pundits haven't factored in.

Arsenal seem to be the favourites but I hope I'm wrong. I'd really love them to win something this season.

Toss up between Arsenaland Liverpool really. Given that Liverpool had such a good season last year, and the fact that they've only lost Alonso from it, I'd be inclined to go for Arsenal.

However, I think they'll be much better this time around if they can keep the key men fit. They could also do with shoring up the defence, something which they've not yet done. In a nutshell, they'll still be in the top four come the end of the season.

As for Man City, it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't get 5th.

Never been a big fan of the Gooners, few of my mates "follow" them and i think thier style over the last few seasons has been overhyped. But now that everybody seems to have written them off id like to see them suprise a few. Eduardo is arguabally the best finisher in the prem when fully fit

The whole 'Big Four' phenomenon really pisses me off to be honest, but I've always hated Chelsea with a passion so I'll have to pick them.

This.

The key for Arsenal is having luck with injuries for once, last few seasons they've had terrible luck and they've still managed to do well despite it. The football they play on their day is the best you'll see. They could win the league easily if they get that little bit of luck they need.

I think Liverpool could have a very poor season now they've lost Alonso, he was one of the main reasons they did so well last year, held the team together.

I really can't see Man City doing anything this season, Mark Hughes doesn't know what he's doing with this money, and I really don't rate him as a manager. Can't see how all these players are gonna gel quickly. Everton and Spurs are in a far better position to break the top 4 in my opinion.

Arsenal are my tip for the title, providing Arshavin and Fabregas can stay fit the entire season. If not, then Chelsea.

I've already said I don't think Utd are invulnerable to dropping out the top 4, as I think they have the weakest midfield out of the current top 4.

I agree with this. He's a lethal finisher and the best in the Prem to me.

I still think Arsenal got a lightweight squad, like. I'm not sure how good Thomas Vermaelen is, but I hope he helps to sort out their Sunday League defence.

Want Liverpool to win the league as always which never happens

I think it will be Liverpool or/even and :o to drop out.

Manchester City won't get in though, it will be Villa or Everton to claim it before them. Hughes will get sacked as well.

Love Manchester United to fall out, well not love, but wouldn't that be funny? Seeing as everyone at college and that seems to support them

Is Arsene Wenger the best manager in The Premiership?
