Bryn Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I think Man U look like having the weakest squad on paper but then I just can't bring myself to write them off, I'm always wrong. I think Man U and Chelsea appear weakest this season but I doubt they actually will turn out to be.
Katy Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Man U to go would be perfect, I can see pundits all over the country having wap attacks if Man U don't win the league as it is but if they dropped out of the top 4? Joyful. Hate the bastards, plus it would make the Prem far more interesting. Last season was dull in that respect.
Zingari Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 who's going to have to drop out next year, when we go up ?
lildave3 Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Want Liverpool to win the league as always which never happens I think it will be Liverpool or/even and to drop out. Manchester City won't get in though, it will be Villa or Everton to claim it before them. Hughes will get sacked as well. Love Manchester United to fall out, well not love, but wouldn't that be funny? Seeing as everyone at college and that seems to support them Is Arsene Wenger the best manager in The Premiership? No.
Lovejoy Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I hope City could replace Liverpool in the top 4, though the whole "Fabregas to Barca" might have a bearing on things regarding Arsenal. I actually think though that the top 8 this year will be closer than ever. Everton and Villa will look to make progress on the last two seasons, though it'll be interesting to see how well Villa get on without Barry. I'm expecting big things from Spurs this season, won't break the top 4, but I think they'll be handy and trouble the big boys.
The Doctor Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Arsenal are my tip for the title, providing Meerkat and Fabregas can stay fit the entire season. If not, then Chelsea.I've already said I don't think Utd are invulnerable to dropping out the top 4, as I think they have the weakest midfield out of the current top 4. not so sure about that, liverpools midfield is weak gerrard and mascherano are they're only very good midfielders as apposed to scholes, carrick, giggs and hargreaves (?) at manure. still hope they go though. personally i would like to see the prem finish like this 1st Villa 2nd Everton 3rd West Ham 4 Wigan filler 16th man C 17th Arse 'n' al 18th L'pool 19th MAnure 20th Chelski
Finnegan Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Would like Chelsea to be fifth but can't see it. If Liverpool can get Torres and Gerrard fit all season then why not?
General Smuts Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 I'd much rather see Liverpool and Arsenal fighting for first and second as i reallly dislike Chelski and Manure. So either of them two. Unfortunately i think this might be Arsenal's season to fall on thier arse (no pun intended).
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 I would love it to be Man Utd who drop out of the big 4 in place of City. But I think Arsenal will either be absolutely awesome this year or terrible so it will most probably be them who drops out. For whatever reason i just can't see united winning the title again this year.
deepbluedevil Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Man Utd please, hate the wankers and especially the sour-face **** managing them. It'll obviously be Arsenal if anyone does though. Here Here
Uncle Albert Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Lost Arbeloa aswell however you spell it. Seeing as they had brought Glen Johnson in not really a loss. None will leave the top four and I would go for Arsenal if anyone, Liverpool and Chelsea are looking alot stronger now. United will struggle if Rooney get's fit.
ozleicester Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I actually think Arsenal will surprise a few this season, I can see them finishing second or third. Most people seem to see them as being the most vulnerable of the top four, but the new 4-3-3 formation Wenger is implementing in pre-season suits them a lot better. Gives them an extra body in central midfield and puts more emphasis on possession football at which they are the best in Britain. They have far better strength in depth than they are credited for and if Eduardo can stay fit and Rosicky can get fit, they'll have two "new signings" that most pundits haven't factored in. Damn it Fez, your continued sensible and rational comments across all parts of the forum are beginning to scare and disturb me However, I still think it will be Arsenal that drops out of the top 4.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 January 2010 Author Posted 14 January 2010 Interesting to look back on. A long way to go and all that.
Finnegan Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 Would like Chelsea to be fifth but can't see it. If Liverpool can get Torres and Gerrard fit all season then why not? Cleverly avoided some egg-on-face action there.
maddog Posted 14 January 2010 Posted 14 January 2010 I think Liverpool Infact i don't think Liverpool will even make the top six.
weluv Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 did the Predictor on BBC Sport, came up with Chelsea ----------------- Arsenal Manchester City Tottenham Hotspur ----------------------- Manchester United Aston Villa Birmingham City Liverpool
Part Of The Crowd Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 A Leeds United fan predicting Manchester United to finish out of the top four? Never saw that coming.
Edmund Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 did the Predictor on BBC Sport, came up withChelsea ----------------- Arsenal Manchester City Tottenham Hotspur ----------------------- Manchester United Aston Villa Birmingham City Liverpool A Leeds fan predicting Man utd failing to qualify for the champions league. Well that's a surprise.
SystonFox Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 A LEEDS FAN HAS SAID THAT MAN YOONATTED WILL NOT FINISH IN TOP 4. WOW HE SURPRISERS MEEE.
Finnegan Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 What's that guys? A Leeds fan predicted that Manchester United wouldnt do very well? Well bugger me.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 Crikey, a Leeds fan predicting that Man Yoo aren't Top 4 bound. Shiver my timbers.
Ultra Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 With Torres and Gerrard picking up more injuries than win bonuses right now, the scousers are in deep trouble - especially if their players' thoughts start to drift towards South Africa. It's possible they could miss out on Europe altogether, unless Villa and/or Spurs get too distracted by cup runs.
The Doctor Posted 16 January 2010 Posted 16 January 2010 did the Predictor on BBC Sport, came up withChelsea ----------------- Arsenal Manchester City Tottenham Hotspur ----------------------- Manchester United Aston Villa Birmingham City Liverpool . this is just your prediction seeing as you have to enter the results which really is a bit of a waste of time. However on current form i'd say this is probably about right.
