I'm not sure how much he meant it to hit it back off the corner flag. i thought nicky had a great impact on the game.....but i think that corner flag incident was more luck than judgement...saying that i really hope we see more of him this season...i think hes gonna be a great player for us

Love to see a video of it. Had a great game nice, should give Dyer a kick up the arse as well. If Adams is going to play like that every week then Dyer's not going to walk into the side like he did last year

After the way N'gaussen and Adams played they both deserve to start against Ipswich. There's bound to be someone who play's brilliant against Macclesfield that will get picked on Saturday and play shite.

Judging by the amount of footage of the game on the BBC programme I can't see there being footage of that little bit, every other ground had cameras everywhere, we get our regular shit representation

Vennegoor10 Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 For the short amount of time he was on he played well, but this certainly doesn't mean he should jump straight ahead of Dyer, who was one of many stand-out players last season, for the Ipswich game. As for hitting the corner flag, it was luck. He was saving the ball going for a goal kick but the power of his kick meant it didn't go out for a throw, just hit the flag.
Messi Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 He didnt mean it, it was down my end of the stadium and he was just trying to put it out for a throw-in instead of a goal kick, but it was very good . He looks very good, as does N'Guessan. Finally we have competition for places in the midfield and i think all the midfielders will be able to do a good job in this league.
