Toby or not Toby Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Is Kee still recovering from injury or is he just not favoured for a starting position?
Jimmy Posted 29 August 2009 Author Posted 29 August 2009 Is Kee still recovering from injury or is he just not favoured for a starting position? just not being chosen to start as far as I know
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Dickov coming off the bench! surely not....
Bert Posted 1 September 2009 Posted 1 September 2009 Chambers missed a penalty for Wycombe in their shoot-out with Northampton tonight. Well, the keeper saved it.
leicesterfox86 Posted 2 September 2009 Posted 2 September 2009 I'd like to see some of these youngsters coming back and really pushing for the first team... it'd certainly mean we had players really trying for the club which is something that was lacking in previous years... seems to have changed somewhat now though which is great.Plus it'd give us a future... to have a squad of home grown players would be fantastic, especially if they form a good bond and push us onto the next level. The 7 substitutes rule allows us to blood a couple of youngsters occasionally. We don't want them sitting on the bench the whole season, but you can't put a price on giving them a go in the first team at some point. It gives them a real lift and makes them realise they belong in the fold.
Thracian Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Verma subbed after 71, Worley played whole game as Crewe lost 1-0 Worley hit the crossbar in that game and seemed to be one of their better players on the day while Verma got a low rating and was subbed at half-time according to the Stoke Sentinel.
Jimmy Posted 4 September 2009 Author Posted 4 September 2009 Worley hit the crossbar in that game and seemed to be one of their better players on the day while Verma got a low rating and was subbed at half-time according to the Stoke Sentinel. i got the info from the BBC match thread

MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Is it on his facebook yet? Suddenly, I can see the Sappletizer running around on the pitch whilst fondling with his iPhone, desperately trying to type...
MPH Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Suddenly, I can see the Sappletizer running around on the pitch whilst fondling with his iPhone, desperately trying to type... in all seriousness, i think a couple of goals could do him the world of good...
lou Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Is it on his facebook yet? I just scored innit, I iz da bizzle! (Or something along those lines?)
davieG Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 I just scored innit, I iz da bizzle! (Or something along those lines?) Spoken like a veteran user
Jimmy Posted 5 September 2009 Author Posted 5 September 2009 Chambers wasn't involved at all for Wycombe nor was Kee for Accy, was he with NI youth? Worley played the whole game and Verma came on the the last 15 as their Crewe side beat Sappleton's Macclesfield 2-1, with Sappleton scoring and completing the entire game

Having just watched Schlupp I've seen all the pace and craft of Chambers in the body of a pocket battleship.
City_4_Life Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Breaking news on SSN that Billy Kee has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad.
dogadug Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Kee called into Northern Ireland first team squad I never knew he was good enough to get into it
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Breaking news on SSN that Billy Kee has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad. That's great news. "Accrington Stanley striker..." though. Behave Sky you fixture-changing bastards.
City_4_Life Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 That's great news. "Accrington Stanley striker..." though. Behave Sky you fixture-changing bastards. The presenters have just been talking about him, and never said once that he was on loan from Leicester.
Father Ted Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 BILLY KEE!!! I would love it if he scored the goal that secured 2nd place for them!
Ultra Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Chambers wasn't involved at all for Wycombenor was Kee for Accy, was he with NI youth? Apparently he played on Friday night for the under-21s.
dogadug Posted 12 September 2009 Posted 12 September 2009 This weekend, this is how our loanees performed; Kee came on as a sub for last 20 mins for Accrington and scored Chambers didn't even make the bench for Wycombe but has not performed well since being loaned there Worley played all 90 for Crewe, whilst Verma didn't even make the bench - injured maybe? Sappleton played 68 mins for Macclesfield and scored again!!! Finally Levi Porter came on for the last 20 mins for Mansfield, and according to 1 of my mates, 'he struggled', that don't surprise me though, looks as though even Blue Square Premier level is too high for him!!

Sheehan got a lot of mentions in the Oldham report but they suckered by a goal in the last minute or so.
