Webbo Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 With sentiments like that not surprised if Gradel signs for leeds permanently. Yeah, because he always reads Foxestalk before making life changing decisions.
Uncle Monty Posted 2 November 2009 Posted 2 November 2009 With sentiments like that not surprised if Gradel signs for leeds permanently. If he shows sign of development then surely that is a good thing because he is only there on loan.
moseeds Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Yeah, because he always reads Foxestalk before making life changing decisions. I don't imagine max sits here reading foxestalk all day like the rest of us but I'm fairly sure players find out pretty quickly what fans think of them through their own social networks.

Lots of the young players - and others in and close to the club - read Foxestalk. It has been referred to many times.

They may well read it but theyre not going to base their entire career decisions on what a few people post on it! Well if they do then they are not very clever

suffolk fox Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Gradel is good, apart from his set pieces and running like a lunatic what else has he got to offer? I think he has found his level at league 1.What happened to Nicky Adams i thought he was cracking at the start of the season. Interesting, you obviously weren't at MK Dons last season then in the 93rd minute??????????????????????
Thracian Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 They may well read it but theyre not going to base their entire career decisions on what a few people post on it! Well if they do then they are not very clever I don't know anyone who's suggested they would but people might be surprised not only who reads this forum but who posts on here. We've certainly had an agent or two turn up, and the occasional player or his girlfriend. And those are just the ones whose identity became apparent.
Uncle Monty Posted 3 November 2009 Posted 3 November 2009 Interesting, you obviously weren't at MK Dons last season then in the 93rd minute?????????????????????? You have misread what i wrote. He has a good free kick and runs a lot but not much else.
Jimmy Posted 3 November 2009 Author Posted 3 November 2009 Verma returns but can't play yet Verma makes early exit from CreweCrewe Alexandra Midfielder Aman Verma has returned to Leicester after his loan spell at Crewe Alexandra was ended two weeks early. The 21-year-old joined Crewe on a three-month deal in August but has failed to establish himself in the first team under manager Dario Gradi. "Aman has returned to Leicester to train with them. He's gone back early as it's easier for him to train there," Gradi told the the club's website. "He told me he enjoyed it and he got some league games under his belt." The midfielder made nine appearances for Crewe under former manager Gudjon Thordarson but fell out of favour when Gradi began his third spell of charge of the Alex. Gradi added: "He has been absolutely fine and I apologised to him for not helping him much since I've been in charge. "I don't think he went with any bad feeling so that is good and we wish him well." Verma has returned to Leicester for training but will be unavailable to play any games for the Foxes until his loan contract officially comes to an end on 10 November.
Sly Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 What are peoples thoughts on Verma in general? I thought he looked fairly tidy but doubt he'd ever play at Championship level for us.

lou Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Apart from Gradel and Kee, bit of a shit day for our loanees! How is being an unused sub not a shit day? For that matter coming on in the 91st min is pretty shit too
lou Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Chambers sent back early from Wycombe the other day... doesnt look good for him
lildave3 Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 None of those will ever do anything if we're being honest.

Leicesterboi Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 I think Kee's loan move to Accrington has been a bit of a waste. The training there is shocking and a lad like Billy needs to be working and training hard to keep in shape and sharp. In a way he has been a victim of his own success in a sense that when he goes to play for Northern Ireland U'21's he misses a couple of Accy games and then has to warm the bench for another couple to work his way back in! And then when he does play he isnt match sharp so it's not really gone his way in my opinion. Wouldn't be a bad thing if Taggart got the Grimsby job and took a few of our lads on loan there.
Jimmy Posted 24 November 2009 Author Posted 24 November 2009 Max Gradel scored a last minuet goal for Leeds today, Accy's game called off

You been Accy's training session lately then? They have a couple of strikers in very good form, that's simply the reason he can't get a game.
RAFRUDY Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 I see that maxi gradel is making a decent impact at leeds. I wonder if he's enjoying it as much to want to leave leicester in january? Any views? Personally i'd like to keep him. Hopefully first team football elsewhere at the moment will develop him into an even better player.
Ozwin Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Hopefully it shows Pearson that he should stick him at least on the bench. I don't get why he's fallen so far down the pecking order since last season.
FoxesFan123 Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 The guys on the Leeds website absolutely love him off! Apparently made a massive impact coming off the bench today, and capped it off with a good goal. The Leeds fans are demanding Bates puts the money forward for Grayson to buy him in Jan. He's been described as "SWP-esque". I want him back...
Jimmy Posted 24 November 2009 Author Posted 24 November 2009 they have bid for him already, it was turned down .... apparently
Ozwin Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 He's a Leicester product, it'd be sad to see two highly rated academy players go in the space of 6 months.
