Kilworthfox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Like 2 seasons ago (when we had a great away day) are we (standing & singing crew) all going to go over to the back right of the away section?
C-man Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Might be a bit harder. I went last season with Wednesday and they were very funny about people going to their correct seats, or at least the correct gangway. Everyone stood anyway, mind.
Shrenchel Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 You'd imagine they'd be a lot more on their shit on derby day than for 1800 Leicester fans on a Tuesday night. We'll see. I'm pretty confident over 50% will stand anyway.
Granno Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Just make sure you're not standing in front of me. Kids these days
john_lcfc Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 im standing. Tough tits ifyour behind me and own a flask.
Bluefoxtim Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 No doubt it will be like MK Dons away - people behind you jabbing you in the back and wailing "Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhh dooooooooowwwwwnnnnnn"
CosbehFox Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Seriously, seriously doubt it. Gone will be the 'let's get pissed and minibus but we aren't really bothered about the football' crews, gone will be the majority of tea flask dwellers, gone will be the majority of full families on show who think it's a jolly good outing on a Saturday afternoon and more families who love the sport and the crazed celebrations on a last-minute winner.
leicesterseddon Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 No doubt it will be like MK Dons away - people behind you jabbing you in the back and wailing "Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhhhhh dooooooooowwwwwnnnnnn" Nah, it won't.

What are you talking about mate?! Evening games usually have a higher proportion of the fans standing in my experience. Sounds like your trying to justify the nice sit down youre planning on having.
SemperEadem Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Really hope row G in gangway E is standing but i dont hold out much hope.
James. Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 What are you talking about mate?! Evening games usually have a higher proportion of the fans standing in my experience. Sounds like your trying to justify the nice sit down youre planning on having. Think you misunderstood Cardiff's post. He was saying he seriously doubted what the poster above him said - i.e. that it'll be like MK Dons.
Tevez Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Are people still fighting the losing battle of standing up at games? As much as I'd love to stand and do my bit for Leicester if I'm blocking someones view or a steward tells me then what can you do? Fair play for the people trying to make a difference but at the moment it's probably one of the last issues on the Governments agenda right now.
Shrenchel Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 Think you misunderstood Cardiff's post.He was saying he seriously doubted what the poster above him said - i.e. that it'll be like MK Dons. Oh, apologies. Are people still fighting the losing battle of standing up at games? As much as I'd love to stand and do my bit for Leicester if I'm blocking someones view or a steward tells me then what can you do? Fair play for the people trying to make a difference but at the moment it's probably one of the last issues on the Governments agenda right now. Ignore the steward? 99% of the time they'll do fvck all. The Lib Dems have given their support to the introduction of safe standing areas. At a time when Labour are becoming more unpopular by the day I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that they too would put their weight behind something which is favoured by the large majority of football fans.

Tommeh Posted 17 August 2009 Posted 17 August 2009 We'll all be fine tomorrow night....This away end is made to stand i.e. lower tier not that many rows plus its a night game, remember Walsall, Brighton and Hartlepool last season? I'm confident majority will stand and if your unfortunate to be a round sitters FOR ****S SAKE MOVE!!

I went last season with Wednesday and they were very funny about people going to their correct seats, or at least the correct gangway. Everyone stood anyway, mind. Hopefully you won't have piss chucked down on you this time. Did you avoid it? I was near the back so was one of the lucky ones last season. I'm sure you enjoyed the game anyway. I certainly did! I really hope your lads give the scum a doing they're really nothing special this season. Definitely a weaker side.
