imagine that Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Good news. Hopefully get some match action under his belt and see how he fares. Shame it's under Taylor though
Simo86 Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Good move by Pearson, we shall see if he can hack it in the football league if Wycombe give him plenty of game time.
AyewJoking Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 So was Chambers actually in the frame for a first team place until we signed Gallagher??????????
Jimmy Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 So was Chambers actually in the frame for a first team place until we signed Gallagher?????????? I doubt it should be a good move for him, should get a decent amount of game time and could allow him to build up some confidence
foxoffderby Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Good move for the boy, hopefully it will become a permo move. Watched him a number of times dont think he will make it at city. A fresh start will do him good.
Braunyfox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 And he will have a GOOD coach who will work with him at Wycombe as well .......
foxes_fan Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 How much potiential has this lad got, not seen much of him?
MPH Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 How much potiential has this lad got, not seen much of him? depends which Ashley Chambers returns from the loan time...
Edmund Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Good move for him. Hopefully he can stay fit and get the all important match fitness and run of first team games he has been lacking these last years.
Finnegan Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 And he will have a GOOD coach who will work with him at Wycombe as well ....... I sense you're being sarcastic but actually Taylor is a pretty decent coach if all is told. Bit of a distinction between being good on the training ground and good as a manager.
Samilktray Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 I hope he does well enough to earn himself a permanent move, he isnt realistically gonna get a chance here.
richie8oy Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Taylors record in the lower league is actually quite good which must mean he gets the best out of players at his disposal which should benefit Chambers during this loan spell. Taylors skills are found to be wanting when he is given money to spend (our boards fault as much as his at the time) so all in all an excellent coach to work under.
Thracian Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Makes sense all round. The bloke has no chance of making our first team at the moment. It is imperative that he shows he can complete a season without breaking down with injury and if he does, then he'll have chance to regain his confidence and then show how destructive (or otherwise) his pace an attacking intelligence can be at the new level. I wish him well.
flanimal Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Not bothered about Chambers, he's got a long way before he'll be any good here. Anyone know how Billy Kee is doing? Is he still injured?!
Webbo Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 I sense you're being sarcastic but actually Taylor is a pretty decent coach if all is told. Bit of a distinction between being good on the training ground and good as a manager. Correct and he has a good record working with young players. I get the feeling that he has trouble dealing with grown men and that is why he eventually always fails.
bluebeau Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Very good luck to the young man, should be a good move for him & develop him for the benefit of City.
smokey Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Very pleased with this, its about time! Its make or break for Chambers, hope he stays injusry free and gets a few games and goals, if he does he will come back a new man.
