still wanna add more i can think of like Heskey's rifle shot against Arsenal

and Wellors dominance goal where he took on i think 3-4 players before placing the goal in the bottom right hand corner of the net

and of course Izzets volley goal against Spurs and then the superb and most memorable for me is the overhead kick against grimsby

Muzzy's have got to be up there, versus Grimsby and Spurs as mentioned.

Theres quite a few that were excellent, such as Nalis v Leeds and even Savage at Newcastle.

What about Heskey against Manchester United?

With the flick on from Claridge or Marshall?

That was an awesome goal.

Joachim outside of the boot against Barnsley '93.

Look at the crowd when he scores, gutted I was too young to enjoy anything like that.

as far as I am concerned this match was really the end of the MON era with Heskey leaving like a week later this was it for me amazing performance and a brilliant hatrick from Stan including this goal

I know me to, but my dad was there and he always shares that memory of Joachim.

Gary Coatsworth V Luton 93-94 ish - 35 yards out in front of the kop!

Heskey v Coventry away at Highfield Road - sharp turn on the edge of the box and a quality finish for a 1-0 win

Colin Gibson - Bristol City home 1992 - belted in from 30 yards in front of the kop..

Maybe not top of everyones list but they stick in my mind from the last 25 years or so...

Nalis v Leeds

Fryatts two late ones against brizzle rovers

Big steve against leeds

(Maxi against Mk)

(Akinbyis where he just sorta bundled it over the line and his celebration)

(Joey against hull, from the half way line)

1. Craig Hignett's 93rd minute equaliser against Arsenal.

2. Nalis against Leeds.

3. John Curtis' horrific own goal against M'boro, dear God. (I think it was him)

I do think there a case for claiming Fryatt's second goal today would be up among the best.

There was so much to it.

The move started way back in our defensive half. I think Kingy made the inititial interception and first time pass but the ball moved on with successive single touches to Fryatt who had anticipated the final pass and turned off his defender in typical style towards the left edge of the box.

Still the defender looked well enough placed to quell the danger but Fryatt shimmied and turned inside brilliantly before curling an inch-perfect shot inside the far post.

At least that's how I rememeber it. Doubtless the replay will see it somewhat differently so I'll wait and see. But for me it was a real cracker. Accurate one touch passing, a clever run into space, the the wrong-footing of the covering defender and the so-precise finish. More please!" :D

I remember that game like it was yesterday. It really was a case of what could have been.

Not the best for quality but the most memorable for me was the equalizer at Wembley against Boro. I got hoisted out of my seat and thrown about by the blokes behind me, absolute euphoria and relief.

Does that mean you're coming around to the fact that (despite his occasional faux pas) Fryatt is a very promising striker, somebody we are lucky to have in our ranks in my opinion.

2.Joachim Vs Millwall 4-0

If you look closely enough I've praised Fryatt as much as I've criticised him. I've constantly highlighted ceertain limitations in his game from fairly early in his career here and suggested he should work on them.

I have always known (and said) that he would score heaps of goals in Division One but questioned whether he had the speed, strength, heading ability, the near-post runs, the variety of shot and the durability to be a Championship striker.

So far this season he's been immense for us overall. I'm delighted. The big improvement it seems is in his sharpness, his fitness and, seemingly his durability.

Every limitation he removes from my list is a plus. There are still at least three or four limitations remaining to be improved before I'll be totally convinced. on the other hand, if we ever get another striker to help him and we ever attack as a unit in the way that we could attack, and if we ever improve our movement off the ball as we should, he might score even more goals.

But as it is I'm delighted for him and today's second goal was a treat to savour for years.
