Thracian Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 I would still like to see us getting more pace and passing into the both the back and front of the team but cannot it happening. But why anyone would leave King out - our one fulcrum player - for anyone I've no idea. Especially with his playing record. At least I gather the "expert" pundits watching his latest international appearance seemed to appreciate his efforts.

I wasn't going to say anything but harping on about Andy King week in week out, would be fine, if I had seen him have consistent game yet. He looked poor in pre-season matches, giving the ball away and losing position and concentration. When he has come on at home matches I've not seen anything to warrant Pearson putting him in as a starter before anybody else. I am glad he's had a couple of good games for Wales but so what, he needs to show Pearson in training he can do it for Leicester as I've seen no evidence from home matches this season of him being anything but rather average, if not a little poor.

Flynny Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Has anyone even asked what the fuck a "fulcrum player" is yet? It seems to change every week depending on what King did well.
Nick Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Has anyone even asked what the fuck a "fulcrum player" is yet? It seems to change every week depending on what King did well. Fulcrum may refer to one of the following: Fulcrum, the pivot on which a lever moves Fulcrum Wheels, a bicycle wheel manufacturer, based in Italy Fulcrum (drumming), part of a percussionist's grip MiG-29 Fulcrum or Mikoyan MiG-29, a Soviet fighter aircraft Fulcrum (Anglican think tank), a Church of England think tank Fulcrum (newspaper), a student newspaper at the University of Ottawa Fulcrum (annual), a United States literary periodical, an annual of poetry and aesthetics Fulcrum Technologies, a former Canadian search engine, now part of Open Text Corporation Fulcrum (Chuck), the enemy spy organization on the TV series Chuck Fulcrum technology, as used in Karhu running shoes. I'm guessing he means the first one, though suggesting that King is the pivotal key to Leicester City Football Team is quite frankly up there with the stupidest things I have ever heard. No offence Thrac, but seriously? And then Jesus wept.
Mikey Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Bruno Wellens King Oakley Fryatt Howard/Yann Waghorn or Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Bruno Gradel/N'Guessan Oakley Wellens Dyer Fryatt Yann/Howard
clazkel Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 I would go for :weale morrison brown hobbs berner adams wellens oakley dyer fryatt howard subs: logan tunchev nielsson king gallagher campbell waghorn I would agree with that team. I like the idea of 4-3-3 but i think it will be a battle of midfield so we need 4 in midfield. I would like to see Nicky Adams starting, i think he deserves a starting place
milan_foxes Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 After going to Coventry... Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown (Try) McGivern Adams Oakley Wellens Gallagher Waghorn/Fryatt Kermorgrant SUBS; Logan Berner Tunchev King Dyer Howard Fryatt or Waghorn
FoxyLady85 Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner N'Guessan Oakley Wellens Dyer Waghorn Fryatt Subs: Logan Gallagher Howard Neilson Campbell King McGivern I just want a team who will kick the sheep.
Father Ted Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Waghorn Wellens Oakley Dyer Fryatt Kermorgant Subs: Logan O'Neill Parkes King Adams Gallagher Howard
RowlattsFox Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Oakley King Wellens Gallagher Howard Fryatt Subs: Logan, McGivern, Dyer, N'Guessan, Waghorn, Kermogant, Neilson Not entirely convinced that this formation works yet, but we looked our best in the first half at Watford in this formation. Dropping Kermogant and especially Dyer might seem a bit harsh, but i'd start Howard in the hope that he will really be up for it against his former club although I do see him being a better option from the bench this season. If this game was straight after COventry then I would have started Waghorn over Fryatt but the rest could have done Matty some good so I'd stick with him.
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 It really doesn't matter what team we put out. The sheep have about 10 injuries so we may as well play the reserves. They will get hammered by whoever plays. I'm looking forward to this. There could be another 4-0 in 15 on the cards.

Normally I would say midlands derby a draw, on this occasion with that injury crisis I expect a win with no excuses. For me Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Adams wellens Oakley Dyer Fryatt Waghorn Logan Neilson N'Guessan King Gallagher Howard Kermit
dilko2008 Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Dyer Gradel Wellens Oakley Howard Waghorn Subs Logan King Kerm Gallagher Fryatt Adams Mcgiven
Unknown Fox Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 WealeMorrison Hobbs Brown Bruno Wellens King Oakley Fryatt Howard/Yann Waghorn or Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Bruno Gradel/N'Guessan Oakley Wellens Dyer Fryatt Yann/Howard Like both of these doubt they will happen, but look tasty!
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 This team sheet does not require an in depth team analysis of what people should do and where. Chill out people. Bottom line, we're playing a team of misfits on Saturday due to injuries so just go out there and rub their, including Robbie's, faces in it. The sheep can go home early and we'll have a right party. Cheers.
ACF Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner N'Guessan Oakley Wellens Dyer Waghorn Kermo Subs: Logan Gallagher Howard Neilson Fryatt King McGivern
clazkel Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 After going to Coventry...Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown (Try) McGivern Adams Oakley Wellens Gallagher Waghorn/Fryatt Kermorgrant SUBS; Logan Berner Tunchev King Dyer Howard Fryatt or Waghorn I went to Cov aswell, but im surprised you would rather play Kermorgant over Howard, and i dont know why you would drop Berner. With Gallagher i think hes a great player but the team is unbalanced when hes in midfield. I agree that Adams should be playing though. Im not sure what Pearson will go with.
StanSP Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Although Berner has been playing well, I'd quite like to see McGivern either start or get some good game-time if we are in the position to make changes. Of course though, if we are winning 2 or 3 nil I'd rather NP not make changes just in case.
