StanSP Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Although he wasn't involved in this game, he might remember it. I bloody loved that game! jumping all around the lounge when De Vries slotted that in! How come he wasn't playing? Injured I presume!

Nick Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 I can read Dutch and the sense I get is that if he is going to play again it will be for City, assuming Nige thinks he is up to it. Really, all I get is the sense that he has said allegedly through the agent that the offer is "interesting" where does it read anything different to make you "sense" a gist other than that?

Smerklo Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 The Dutchman takes appearance this weekend a decision over for which club he chooses. At least it means we'll be put out of our misery this weekend, although early next week looks more likely.

maddog Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Could this thread make 100 pages before he's signed/confirmed that he's not signed Fook knows. I love it how we've gone from repetitive English news the same as the stuff that broke in the Mail, to repetitive Dutch news that is the same only Dutch
SamL Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Could this thread make 100 pages before he's signed/confirmed that he's not signed Fook knows. I love it how we've gone from repetitive English news the same as the stuff that broke in the Mail, to repetitive Dutch news that is the same only Dutch So what if it does, not really a big deal is it? How many of those pages would actually be worth reading? I would suspect that the majority are filled with complete dross, with people speaking more about the length of the thread than the topic itself. If he signs, great. If he doesn't, we'll move on. I don't see what the big rush is anyway. It's not like he'll be fit enough to play straight away anyway.
Steven Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Really, all I get is the sense that he has said allegedly through the agent that the offer is "interesting" where does it read anything different to make you "sense" a gist other than that? 'Edgar Davids zijn eerste optie is Leicester City' Translated equals 'Edgar Davids his first option is Leicester City' or so says his agent. In the light of that I have come to the conclusion that the only thing standing between him coming to City or not, is himself by saying he does not want to/cannot play football or Nige by not being satisfied about his fitness.
StanSP Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Has Davids actually said anything himself?? So far there's only been stuff from his agent I think. Agent might just be making speculation
Finchy Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Have you just quoted Steve McClaren reading the Mercury? haha

Ford Super Sunday Posted 25 October 2009 Author Posted 25 October 2009 Cannot wait for the FA Cup draw, I either want a tiny team away, or a huge team away or at home To relate this to Edgar, a lot of teams would like to draw us after the huuuuge teams because of big D, which would be brilliant. Sign Edgar SIGN

Ford Super Sunday Posted 25 October 2009 Author Posted 25 October 2009 Don't quote me, but I think it'll be the 6th December, or the first Sunday in December (it usually is) I honestly cant be bovvered to look it up. Also, wouldn't mind getting Hinckley United in the cup ether... be interesting To link this post to Edgar Davids, I think Edgar Davids at a tiny ground with a tiny capacity would be fooking funny 'what the hell did I sign at this club for...' Sign Edgar SIGN
