suffolk fox Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 It's their pace up front that concerns me especially on the flanks. Both Neilson, Mcgivern are slow and they could exploit this. Mcgivern got totally skinned on Monday night against Reading. I partly agree with Thracian, no Pearson team gets absolutely hammered and Pearson will be aware of their threat I am going for an exciting 2-2 draw.
Bluefoxtim Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I'd happily take a point, as I'm sure most would. If we play like we did against Reading, we'll get thumped. If Fryatt/whoever else, gets a chance, we're gonna have to take it to win tonight.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 FFS Sky ****ing sports When we're live, do we EVER get any attention? Vs. Leeds- Focus was on them and their rise up the table, and how amazingly brilliant they were at the time Vs. Newcastle- Focus on Newcastle, how hard the times are for them and how amazingly brilliant they were at the time Vs. Reading- Focus on Reading, rodgers being under pressure and how brilliantly shite they were when we played them Vs. QPR- Focus on QPR, scoring 4 in the last three matches, a cock up the arse look at Adel Taarbat, and how brilliant QPR are. Wow, I mean ok, it takes two teams to play a football match

m_d_cooper Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 the way for you to win tonight is to be brave.you will need 2 wide players with pace especially on the right wing as borrowdale lacks pace.up front you will need very mobile strikers sitting a bit deeper than normal.with both of our best central midfielders not playing(rowlands and watson)you should be able to out muscle us in the centre)the goalkeeper is very suspect at free kicks as he does not have a clue how to position a wall.the only real problem that you will have is that we do not play with an out and out striker so marking could be a problem. good luck qpr fan

Hopefully it will be a good game!!
leftsideoverhere Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 Dunno why, but I've got an "epic" feeling about this one. Reckon its going to be one of those nights the sofa army will regret not being there. Cold, rainy, windy, but an excellent atmosphere and an injury time winner. 3-2 to the City.

m_d_cooper Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 doesn't dyer have pace?or am i getting the qwrong dyer.did he come from southampton
lou Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 doesn't dyer have pace?or am i getting the qwrong dyer.did he come from southampton Isnt Dyer injured?
Babylon Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 doesn't dyer have pace?or am i getting the qwrong dyer.did he come from southampton I should rephrase... We have mobile strikers and wingers, we just don't play them.
m_d_cooper Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 pearson goes for a more solid approach then?that is the way to be qpr,as the flair players do not track back very well and leave the defence exposed.i think it will be 2-2 and qpr coming from behind to snatch a draw

Which would be everything you said you can't handle. Most likely it will be the solid approach until we go behind, then he'll bang on 3 subs at once and we'll go attacking.
m_d_cooper Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 you could double up on the full backs as the 2 cenre halves don't normally like to go and help out.when howard played for luton they used him out wide and it dragged our ch out of his comfort zone;it worked very well for 45mins
suffolk fox Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I reckon it's gonna be like our Cup quarter final there when they had the likes of Bowles, Marsh, Massey, Given in their side......A young Joe Waters played and we beat em 2-0 where everyone including the tv pundits of the day expected them to romp home................. It'll be the same tonight a young DJ Campbell will come off the bench be re-born and score two cracking goals 2-0 us to ressurrect his career!!!!! Sorry was I dreaming?????????????????

They were talking about Leicester being really solid and having quality, NP has done a great job etc.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I didn't think they focussed on Reading at all. They were talking about Leicester being really solid and having quality, NP has done a great job etc. I thought they were pretty neutral as well. They were honest about the fact that Reading had the best of the ball, but also about how solid and well-organised we were as a team. It certainly wasn't Newcastle bad, where we seemed to annoy the commentators by daring to turn up with pretensions of beating the mighty Newcastle.
Joe. Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I really can't see past a defeat here unfortunately.
Edmund Posted 30 October 2009 Posted 30 October 2009 I'm going for another 1-0 win for us. Totally get outplayed once again but nick it with a scrappy goal.
