Guest Basildon Fox Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Nope, I think it's pretty obvious the deal was already done to join West Brom before he handed in the transfer request he obviously thought it was a better option and it probably still is at this moment in time. It was no secret they had been after him all summer so it wasn't really a surprise. I agree with your other point though at the end of the day it's a job for a footballer if they get a better offer then they will probably take it like me or you would. I personally think the way he handed in his transfer request was a bit underhand From what I have heard about him the way he conducts himself in general is a bit underhand.
Sly Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 From what I have heard about him the way he conducts himself in general is a bit underhand. He has an upcoming trial to prove it!! Will he actually play against us? Isn't his trial soon?
Finnegan Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 'One Bruno Berner' would go down well with me.
Tommy G Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I think "Mattock, What's the score - Mattock, Mattock What's the Score?" after we slot in our 3rd will suffice... Dream on. If WBA play like they did at the weekend I think we will be put in our place. I hate to say it but I think we will be beat comfortably. Which will suit Mattock just fine I guess. Imagine if he scores! Would be mayhem. I hope a few people manage to get down tere early enough to boo him off the coach and call him a c***. He will (hopefully) be behind bars soon anyway!
lou Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 'One Bruno Berner' would go down well with me. Definately up for this one!
dandannieldanok Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 'One Bruno Berner' would go down well with me. Definitely , although Mattock will provoke more of a response than any of our players will unfortunately. It's similar to when Hume returned with Barnsley, he got more of a response than our own players (obvious difference being he was cheered).
leftsideoverhere Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 To be fair, Humey with his head injury was more than a bit of a special case. Next time he comes we'll treat him more normally I expect.
Ozwin Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I used to be in the same class as him 3 years ago. It'd be weird to boo him, I got on with him.
The Doctor Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I used to be in the same class as him 3 years ago. It'd be weird to boo him, I got on with him. he was in year 9 at south wigston high school when i started year 6 there and TBH he was a massive twat then as well.
Katy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 he was in year 9 at south wigston high school when i started year 6 there and TBH he was a massive twat then as well. God, I used to go there. Probably before he was able to be a massive twat.
lou Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 God, I used to go there. Probably before he was able to be a massive twat. Me too...... hated the place. PS A long time before he was a massive twat there
ousefox Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I never rated him at all last season and I always wanted Bruno or Powell in for him. He made to many mistakes and was never a solid left back. The guy seems as thick as pigshit and I will be booing.
leftsideoverhere Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Well, hark at you lot the SWHS massive. I feel like the only person in this thread who didn't go there. I'm reliably informed that the current generation of SWHS city fans (i.e. Greg) will be giving Mattock some stick on Saturday. He's already agitating to have Mattock's picture downgraded in the school's "hall of fame".
Budweiser Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Absolute abuse all game will do me nicely. Twat.
Corky Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 C-man has it right, Berner is the better player, we've been better off since. Will he play though, or conveniently "rested"?
Ozwin Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 he was in year 9 at south wigston high school when i started year 6 there and TBH he was a massive twat then as well. GCSEs for me. He was alright, I wasn't best mates with him or anything but we got on in tutor because we had to sit next to each other alphabetically. I didn't like the crowd he hung with though, some right bellends. I remember in PE he picked me first once for his footy side, he clearly knows talent when he sees it.

Did you have a tutor for about 3 months called Mr Williams? ! Strange but..
Ozwin Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 This was at Countesthorpe College. Never went Wigston.
MPH Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Have people forgotton that he is being prosecuted for GBH against a woman? I would think that people might want to boo him more for that than anything to do with why he left the club... " what's it like to punch a girl" would probably get under his skin more than anything, TBH

Ozwin Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Oh right, we never had to call teachers Mr or Mrs. First name basis babeh. And I don't recall a Mr Williams.

Filbert_Ross Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 i didnt know he was getting married Saturday to be honest

It does, I would just like to see his smug face when people started chanting that at him. That would hurt more than any boo.
