SMX11 Posted 7 December 2009 Author Posted 7 December 2009 I have seen him live three times and on tele about a dozen times. I can understand your views however and I'll shut up from now on
Fox92 Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 How can you really compare Gary Hooper to Stevie Howard? Surely, they are different players?
RedHux Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 these are skint. One or two of this lot would bolster your squad.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Brian Stock - lets get Wellens on the ball more A strong defensive right back, who would come! Essential! Extend Waghorns loan or sign Halmosi is a shout, but would he come really? £££ & not prem football. I also like Wallace & PNE but again would he come? Vokes from Wolves, but again would he come?
Babylon Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 these are skint. One or two of this lot would bolster your squad. We should buy their two forwards, scoring for fun at the minute.... Campbell and Dickov will save us, oh hang on.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 these are skint. One or two of this lot would bolster your squad. Not Hulse for me, Commons is all right but still a turncoat!
Samilktray Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Kris Commons would be class. Could see him going to a lower half Premiership club, or someone like Newcastle though, we wouldnt have a chance.
SMX11 Posted 7 December 2009 Author Posted 7 December 2009 James Wesolowski re-call We need some company for Clem and Tunch
RedHux Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Commons is massively inconsistent and usually injured. The sheep are finding that out about now. I think Hulse would an improvement on what you've got now.
Ozwin Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 I don't want Hulse, he's looks like a right mardy twat.
DarkTranquillity Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 My Polish friend at work has said we had a scout looking at Robert Lewandowski from Lech Poznan in Poland. He got it from a Polish news site, he's going to get the link for me, but it will be polish i would think.
Ozwin Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Wasn't it Finnegan who was raving about Lewandowski a while back?
DarkTranquillity Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Not sure, first i've ever heard of him. Apparantly our scouts watched 3 games in november.
DarkTranquillity Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 http://ekstraklasa.wp.pl/kat,32288,title,L...,wiadomosc.html Not sure how to make it a link. Anybody lend a hand? I'm going to have a go on a translation website.
izotepion Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Well, I often watch Polish Ekstraklasa(our highest league) and I think that Lewandowski is much overrated. However, he has flair, and he's good in anticipation(of the ball); unfortunately, he isn't as strong as he should be in Championship. Of course, it would be very interesting to see a Polish player in LCFC. I apologise for my language mistakes. PS. http://ekstraklasa.wp.pl/kat,32288,title,L...,wiadomosc.html "Leicester City scouts Lewandowski" Leicester City scouts have been watching Robert Lewandowski - "Fakt" announces. Apparently, the Englishmen are willing to hire the Pole during this transfer window. "The Foxes" play in Championship, although they have ambitious plans for future - they want promotion to Premiership. Now they're 4th on the Championship table. That's the first time when an English club shows interest in Lewandowski; the media have been informing only about teams from Italy and Germany(f.e. Livorno). Only his manager, Cezary Kucharski, lately admited that there were offers from England. Right now, Lewandowski is the leader of Polish Ekstraklasa's top-scorer ratings. He says that he's ready to play in western clubs and he hopes that Lech will let him go in winter. ---------------- I hope that's English.

Hitesh Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 James Beattie Thought exactly the same after reading that he had a bust up with Pulis. Don't think it's gonna happen to be honest. I bet it was something minor like taking Pulis' cap off his head!
izotepion Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Just added the translation. PS. If I were you, I would be sceptic about Lewandowski, "Fakt" is not a reliable news source.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Just added the translation. Cheers mate, good Who has written the story "FAKT"? Are they a reliable source? wiki does this deserve a thread of its own?
izotepion Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 "Fakt" is a very unreliable news source. They often write about, f.e., mad Americans killing their grandparents with a sausage or aliens invading Warsaw to get some "bigos". So, I think it is too early to talk about a real transfer. Maybe Mr. Pearson doesn't even know about Lewandowski.

Sniffer-Clarke Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Not that I'm saying we don't need any new strikers but why are people still calling Fryatt things like "hit and miss"? Only two people in the entire league have scored more than him and they're both at free-scoring Cardiff. What has he got to do exactly? I would say the answer to your question if you seen him on saturday prove he can be a succes at this level IMO i dont think he can.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 He's been a pretty constant figure on their bench in recent games. There's no prospect of getting him back. Might be if carrot head gets the chop.
