Joe. Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Not sure how realistic getting Davies back on loan is, but I'd have no doubts that Pearson would be on it liek a flash it if were possible. Two starts for Bolton so far this season, four sub appearances. Possible, I guess. I think we're pretty much covered everywhere else to be honest. Possibly another left back and right back, but I don't think it's particularly urgent at the moment.
martyn Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Mark Davies or a midfielder of his ilk (ie a direct central midfielder with the ability to dribble past opponents and break into the box) would be absolutely perfect and get us very close to having a squad which has many different talents.

After refusing to play for us last season so he did not get injured when the "bright lights" of Bolton appeared I would be almost certain that Pearson would not touch him with a barge pole.

TrickyTrev Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Our squad needs someone who can provide the ability to carry the ball forwards from either right back or central midfield, we have players that can do a job in both of these positions but when we are playing against park the bus teams the ability to commit defenders is priceless. Tom Cleverly would obviously have been ideal but I trust Nigel and his team to know more about Premier League reserve sides than any of us and find the right sort of player.

We just need the manager to play the current lot in their correct positions to really maximise our potential.

Evans, Priskin ,Tudgay or maynard. My Suggestions are Sell Campbell Sell Nielson Bring In : rb - Gilbert ? rw - Sproule (rapid ) , Halmosi ( utility ) cm - Jay Emmanuel Thomas (Currently at Blackpool , Not Sure How Long 4 But Versatile , plays LB, LW , CM , DM) , Koren , Lallana , McCann st - Calvin Zola , Tudgay Try 4 Zavon Hines loan ? What Do u Think To My Suggestions ?

Fryatt has scored more than all of those strikers in the league so far this season (except for Maynard who has the same amount), so I don't get what you're on about at all.
