iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 Fryatt has scored more than all of those strikers in the league so far this season (except for Maynard who has the same amount), so I don't get what you're on about at all. Yeh but jeez he scores for a few games then goes misssin n also he gets better service !
dandannieldanok Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 Yeh but jeez he scores for a few games then goes misssin n also he gets better service ! I still don't get the point though, the scoring charts say it all. Strikers are paid to score goals and Fryatt has more than all of them. And, unless you've seen a hell of a lot of championship football this season, you're just guessing that Fryatt gets better service.
hackneyfox Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 Right Wing . N'guessen blows hot n cold n we always lack a good ball in.right back - Neilson Is Shyte !! centre Mid - For Cover Striker - We have several decent ones, but none of them are top quality , If we are aiming for play offs , Compare our strikers to teams that are/will be around us ... we dnt have a clinical striker as good as the likes of mccormack, mellor , c. Evans, Priskin ,Tudgay or maynard. My Suggestions are Sell Campbell Sell Nielson Bring In : rb - Gilbert ? rw - Sproule (rapid ) , Halmosi ( utility ) cm - Jay Emmanuel Thomas (Currently at Blackpool , Not Sure How Long 4 But Versatile , plays LB, LW , CM , DM) , Koren , Lallana , McCann st - Calvin Zola , Tudgay Try 4 Zavon Hines loan ? What Do u Think To My Suggestions ? Shyte is a bit harsh on Neilson, he's improving, I think you're suffering with flock mentality. And who is to say that KG would be better at this level.

I think our midfield gives him gr8 service , but anyway i would still say fryatt is our best striker , but still he needs some quality support . Waghorn is good but obviously he aint ours atm , and howard is gettin on , dj is a flop , kermo is yet to convince me as a regular goalscorer
willchafer Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 i think arsenal have said they are putting gilbert up for sale in jan. so....please sign him nige!
Guest Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 i think arsenal have said they are putting gilbert up for sale in jan. so....please sign him nige! Said he wants to go to another Prem club really
StanSP Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 Said he wants to go to another Prem club really Yeah apparently he rejected Ch'ship clubs in summer to prolong his Arsenal career.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 November 2009 Posted 26 November 2009 If we decide we are in need of a big man up front, I'd like to see Calvin Zola from Crewe, which someone has already mentioned.
Ozwin Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 I reckon Gilbert would come here given the chance, we're not just any old Championship club to him, we won the league with him in the side and he struck me as someone who really enjoyed himself when he was here.

CosbehFox Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Loving your work. I watched him three weeks ago and he's the lower league player whose impressed me most this season. Quick, decent in the air, plenty of running. If we flogged Campbell and Howard, he'd be a decent signing. Tomlin's from Leicester on another note and been playing on the wing lately.

The seal of approval. Not too old either. Would like to see more gambles being taken on players striving in the lower leagues.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Calvin Zola is a complete pile of steaming shite - FACT and anyone that suggests we sign him for Leicester is an imbecile - FACT!
CosbehFox Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Calvin Zola is a complete pile of steaming shite - FACT and anyone that suggests we sign him for Leicester is an imbecile - FACT! Quite agreed. Just cos he's a big ****er, he's worth buying apparently.
Simo86 Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Calvin Zola is a complete pile of steaming shite - FACT and anyone that suggests we sign him for Leicester is an imbecile - FACT! Spot on
Simo86 Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Quite agreed. Just cos he's a big ****er, he's worth buying apparently. We best put a bid in for Jon Parkin then, cos you can't get much bigger than him
Nick Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 According to todays paper (NOTW), if we want Cleverley, we'll have to get through Newcastle first as they are interested in taking him away from his current loan deal at Watford and bringing him to St. James' Park. Would Man U sell him? What is he worth do we think? He's pretty much proven at championship level I would say.
teblin Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 I still think we need a centre forward, one with genuine pace and power. Maybe also a quality left sided player.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Ebi Smolarek for anyone? ...still free agent
sdb Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 A right back (Neilson's ok but we could do better and have no real back-up anyway). A quality CM if one came up.
