Celebrate or not?

  1. 1. England win a penalty last minute of the 2010 World Cup, Gerrard dives for it, Lampard slots it in, we win, do you celebrate like a madhead. Yes or no?

Anti-England bastard. <_< :D

No, although I might depending on the how the opposition had been. Like say if we were playing Portugal and Ronaldo had been diving all game then I'd celebrate a hell of a lot more than if we were playing an honest team (if there are any left!).

No team is honest at football, every team down the line has done something to gain an advantage, so I dont see what the big deal is if England do something, I'm not saying England should go out with the intention to cheat to win but if something like this did happen then it wouldnt bother me.

I don't know, England winning the World Cup would mean a lot of drinks deals in pubs due to everybody's excessive partying and revelling in winning the World Cup, so from a purely selfish and self-abusing viewpoint, it wouldn't be the worst scenario in the world.

I just can't see how people would enjoy winning knowing that they've robbed somebody and they've actually had to resort to cheating in order to win as much as they would winning because they deserve it. Maybe that's just me though? :dunno:

If he dives so what?, we have been one of the unluckiest national teams, so if we got a bit of 'luck' albeit it someone diving I really couldn't care less.

Except it's not luck is it? It's cheating.

Two wrongs don't make a right and all that bollocks...

lol everyone's just voting no because they don't want to appear as hypocrites. You'd all fucking go nuts.

I wouldn't, I'd be fuming and I'd spend the rest of my life pointing out you're cheats every time someone asks me when the last time Wales won a world cup was.

Every single Englishman would be jumping up and celebrate like there's no tomorrow. When the dust has settled and people reflect back on it they'll admit luck was on England's side on the night, but to say you wouldn't celebrate if Gerrard scored in such a controversial fashion is ludicrous to say the least.

In my scenario, Lampard scored the goal, Gerrard dived to win the penalty. :P

I voted no but then the question was would you celebrate like a madhead? Mine would be very muted celebration!

I'd celebrate but I'd be disappointed with the way that we'd won it, think it'd tarnish it to be honest

Yeah I'd go mad. Everyone would.

You can't expect the opposition to be fair in professional sport anymore, so don't bother getting on the moral high-horse about France because it's not us that's done it.

I think that makes sense...
