Thanks for kind words about the fans mate, if we didn't laugh we'd cry, we were woeful on the pitch, fantastic off it. "We should have gone christmas shopping"

Your support is a league apart from your side: excellent :appl:

Great result you can't argue with 3 goals and a clean sheet, thank you Michael Morrison and hopefully the confidence it will need to bring. I'm not getting carried away though because although you can only beat what's in front of you that was an absolutely dire Sheffield Wednesday and we've still a long way to go in terms of consistency and ball retention. There were still too many wayward passes and unnecessary panicky clearances.

But upwards and onwards

A special well done to Andy King not just for the two goals but for the unappreciated back tracking and ball winning that many seem not to notice.

I feel for the Wednesday fans they deserve much better.

Very good win, gutted I wasn't there.

Fantastic to see Steve show his work at this club isn't done yet.

Not surprised what you've all said about Wednesday fans, always top doller.

Brian Laws - a man who tried every formation ever known to mankind apart from the one involving fancy dress and the one where everyone rides an elephant.

Woefully clueless.

We've bounced back, fantastic. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Hope all the boo boys are feeling like the utter prats they are after that performance.

That, was the response I was looking for on Tuesday, Very happy, Still didn't play amazingly well but good enough, Happy enough with performance and very happy with the result, I felt it could have been 4 or 5.

It was nice to see us take our chances today too, Maybe it was me not concertrating enough but we didn't seem to waste our chance today.

Great to see Dyer and Howard back.

And I hope people realise we are a much better side with Howard in the team, I would revert back to Howard and Fryatt upfront now I think.

I'd like to see Kermo in for Howard. He seems as good, if not better in the air, and is more mobile!

But yeah, Steve played great today.

The Wednesday fans cheering like they scored when they had a shot was hilarious. Brilliant fans and exactly what we should aspire to be like at The Walkers.

Great result today and nice to see Howard get on the score sheet at last. And did i hear somewhere that our 3rd goal was like watching Brazil play? :D

I think that was the Wednesday fans.

It's not hard to see why they haven't scored for so long. Despite a lot of possesion they didn't really force a save from Weale.

Good result, even the Owls cleary were not up for the challenge today. Super Stevie Howard had the match of the year for him, and I am glad. Good to see King bagging twice too. BBC Radio Leicester were more or less applauding the Owls fans, so credits to them for backing their team in such manner and force.

Just goes to show a bit of effort and commitment goes along way. If you hassle and harry and play to win you'll get what you deserve, and it came in a 3-0 win. We all knew that despite our two horror shows, that Wednesday were a team that we should be beating and I'm just glad that belief was reflected in the play. Howard's return was welcome, gave us a focal point to work off and I think Fryatt's performance was definitely enhanced by his presence. Best performance from Oakley for a good few weeks aswell. There are a few things that need working on but only minor, and as long as the players maintain that effort level and commitment then I'm not bothered by them (the minor things). Personnel, organisation and tactics are a big part of football and why we win and lose games, but I think the vastly enhanced energy levels were the main reason behind this success.

I am as pleased about the clean sheet as I am about the 3 goals. Wasn't a particularly amazing performance, and I think we would have conceded against better opposition today, but overall it was infinitely better than our recent games.

The Wednesday fans might be the loudest and most spirited fans we've had at the Walkers this season I think; I actually enjoyed their presence.

A lot of longballs, especially in the first half , today. Is anyone going to complain about hoofball?

Just been for few beers(and a pretty handsome hot chocolate) with my Wednesday mates , they are distraught bless them but as i said to them... we were there last saturday !!

Delighted for Howard and superb work from Fryatt to create it.

Much better!

Although they were absolutely shit, we did the job. We actually looked up for it today, and it showed. Delighted with Steve, cracking performance from the guy and finally got that goal. Fryatt did well today, the cross for Steve's goal was quality, and set up the 2nd too, but then decided he was going to shoot from the touchline when 3 were waiting for a tap in <_<

And that is why I love King :P Wellens was much better today aswell, more like he was at the start of the season.

it's nothing to get carried away about though, like I said, they were absolutely shit. And who knows how it would have finished had Morrison not made that brilliant interception when Weale went walkabout...

Delighted with the three points on a freezing cold day. Great shift by the lads, Wellens was superb today and Dyer was decent too as were all the lads. Now for a few beers.

Not while it works no. Howard clearly had the upper hand over their defenders so the hoofball, although not thrilling to watch, was effective.

We've played so much more hoofball in the past. Today was nothing compared to what we used to do. We played it around today far more in midfield than we have done in ages, we actually had a midfield for once.
