lookwhaticando Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Goals from Howard and King twice. Good result.
Babylon Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Exorcised the ghosts of the last two games... now we can move on!!!
Fosse Boy Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 We've bounced back, fantastic. :scarf: Hope all the boo boys are feeling like the utter prats they are after that performance.
dave_the_fox Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Am I the only one who is a little sad Muffin and Samuel have been banned!? Edit: Good result potential banana skin and we have done well. Good Good.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 December 2009 Author Posted 12 December 2009 Am I the only one who is a little sad Muffin and Samuel have been banned!? Quite probably. Good for Howard to get a goal to his name... hopefully it doesn't take another 19/20 hours for his next.
Babylon Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Am I the only one who is a little sad Muffin and Samuel have been banned!? Yes
shen Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Am I the only one who is a little sad Muffin and Samuel have been banned!? They would've crawled right back into their pathetic little caves, which would be the same effect as them getting banned...
City_4_Life Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Lovely stuff. The reaction we was looking for on tuesday, sounded like a completely different team. Hopefully we will carry this into the Cardiff game. Well done lads.
MPH Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 when was the last time we scored 3 goals in the league?
Tilley Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 when was the last time we scored 3 goals in the league? Watford?
Fosse Boy Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 when was the last time we scored 3 goals in the league? Watford away.
MC Prussian Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 An important win after two terrible games away at Forest and at home to Bristol City. Glad for both Howard and King to play above their current regular form. Looks like the bad patch has served the team and the manager right as a wake-up call. Expected more from Wednesday, as we usually lose against low-form opposition at the Walkers. Looked like Sheffield dominated the second half, the happier I am about King smashing in another to stun them even more. It's a much-needed result in order to keep spirits high up again and just before two (in my opinion) rather hard games to follow. Cardiff away and the Blades, who're another in-form team; I don't really expect us to get something out of those two matches, so I'll let the LCFC squad and Person surprise me. Well done and I hope the lads and lasses who were present at the game have some more positives to report on.
Tilley Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 An important win after two terrible games away at Forest and at home to Bristol City Don't forget Scunthorpe away too, that was just as bad.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Straight forward and deserved win. Wednesday passed it around well but a combination of much improved defending from ourselves and truly laughable finishing from them ensured a clean sheet. We always looked dangerous going forward when we kept it on the deck and it was good to see Howard get off the mark and King net a confidence boosting brace after two very poor performances. Onwards and upwards now, put the last week behind us and continue playing well at Cardiff.
Finnegan Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 I bet the boo boys feel stupid now. You are a king of irony, Ash.
MikeyT Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Great result today and nice to see Howard get on the score sheet at last. And did i hear somewhere that our 3rd goal was like watching Brazil play?
Daggers Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 It was the manner of play. Howard and Fryatt back to doing what they did last season and Kingy striking through the centre with aplomb. Oakley brimming with confidence, Wellens playing killer balls and Morrison proving that he should be the first name on the sheet when it comes to picking the back four. That said - we were playing a League 1 side (with Premiership support) today.
Captain... Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 I bet the boo boys feel stupid now. I shall always boo a bad performance and NP deserves the sack atm, the bloke has been found out for what he is. Ok you lose 5-1 to forest on saturday bad enough but your got a game tuesday at home to a side who haven't won in fooking ages ... and you lose 3-1 !! He's done fook all about the way to go about it.I felt like waiting outside the walkers and giving him a piece of my mind and i fooking will if we lose on saturday. Right to the muppets face and tell him to quit. You tell me. Do you feel stupid?
MC Prussian Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 You tell me.Do you feel stupid? Hugo still wrestles with puberty, hence the schizophrenia. Have little more sympathy.
Daggers Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 You tell me.Do you feel stupid? Top shot! Ash17nobrains won't feel stupid, for him it's a permanent state of being.
Joe. Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 That's how it's done boys. Good effort from everybody involved today, delighetd with the result. I had a good feeling before the game going in against a Wednesday side lacking in confidence, and I was proved right. They were dreadful in every department, making it far too easy for us. Commendable effort from their supporters though, brilliant set of fans they've got there.

Thanks for kind words about the fans mate, if we didn't laugh we'd cry, we were woeful on the pitch, fantastic off it. "We should have gone christmas shopping"
