For Crying out loud.

As fans in the dark we beg like Fritzl prisoners locked in the darkness for inside information on what might be happening at the club, then when we get a tip, individuals on this forum start laying in to guys like Stringer and Knowitall.

Stringer didn't tell us anthing though really did he? In fact a poster on Talking Balls broke the 'actual' story rather than him. No-one likes a 'teaser' of 'i know something, you don't know' without actually revealing anything.

That does not give people the right to abuse him.

And then 2 weeks later when they decide not to post after being abused because the information wasn't either as accurate as hoped or as important bit of news as desired we beg for their return.

It's time people started thinking before they post the dire offensive nonsense that serves to help nobody but their own immature, egotistic, knowledge-less opinions, that make the community of posters on this forum with common sense and a gratitude for information lose out and become embarrassed to be associated with a forum which they hold dear yet contains a minority of massive cockwaving imbeciles.

Thanks to Stringer and Knowitall, all further info always appreciated no matter what the outcome.

Exactly right. It's a vicious circle......the very fact that we are now kept in the dark will cause agitation and excitement when news is anticipated and yet, we will lash out when it isn't as sensational as hoped alienating those providers of information in the first place.

Looking forward to reading more rumours surrounding players like Reyes and Beckham.

Personally I don't agree with the move, in fact I'd go for the wholehog and I completely disagree with Pearson's treatment with Adams. This season, he's knuckled down and did well when he was on. Scores a goal in his one of only two starts, works hard at Bramall Lane and had a great cameo against Swansea where he showed he had two feet plus could put a ball in yet he's largely ignored. Alright he had a poor performance at Watford but that was in the midst of the alamo on our goal and Pearson showed a lack of tactical nous by having Oakley on the right rather than Adams leaving Adams and King in midfield.

Annoyed. I disagree with this more than Gradel's move.

Yeah, but in all fairness you know less than nothing about, Adam's attitude to training, the atmosphere in the dressing room, what Adam's wants, what Pearson is attempting to achieve by loaning him out, or the funds that he may be trying to raise to purchase a more appropriate player for Adams' position on the football field.

I'll reserve judgement and back the fella that has got us into the play-off spots.

But stringer didn't start the thread did he!

He just put that a player was leaving today and guess what, a player left. Yet abuse is flying his way for no reason.

At the end of the day he's a Leicester fan and has more insight into the club than most on here, so like Nick says it's our loss at the end of the day if he thinks twice about sharing information.

Have you ever met the fella? The comments had an air of arrogance about them as said 'i know something you don't'.

Get a grip.

Yes I have met him.

He's doing his job.

He's a broadcaster, attempting to raise his profile. I'm grateful he told me some news was gonna break so I could check back.

He's not raping your sister, he's announcing some football gossip that he has heard but can not yet say.

So what.

I didn't abuse, neither did I defend those that did, all I said was that he was foolish in announcing anything and it will do nothing more than lowering the opinion of him with many. Secondarily, he didn't share any information with 'us', he shared it with everyone. He didn't post on here, we are a percentage of his audience.

As for meeting him I have on a fair few occasions and he was a **** at the time. Like a little schoolkid.

:dunno:

The information released by Stringer was that a player was leaving, but a player wasn't leaving - he was going on a month's loan.

Stringer was (at best) inaccurate with his tweet - some would say misleading on purpose, with the intention of whipping up interest in his announcement/own belief in his self-importance.

Of course, that's just my immature, egotistic and knowledge-less opinion...now I need to go wave my massive cock at some fellow imbeciles.

Nick has quoted my post, but I did not abuse Mr Stringer either

I think Nick has over-reacted somewhat, but no problem

I started the thread, but with hindsight think the news was hardly worthy of a trail. That said, I like Mr Stringer as a broadcaster, and appreciated the information he gathers

I don't care if the player was leaving / going on a months loan or going shopping at the Bull Ring. I acknowledge that Stringer is a Broadcaster and is trying to raise his profile.

The posts I have a problem with are on the earlier pages of this thread calling him abusive names that will discourage posters "in the know" from releasing information / gossip.

I am however pleased Dave that your cock-waving with imbeciles is continuing.

We could maybe do a blog on it.

Raise cock-waving awareness somewhat.

Apprentice Reject ffs

lol

What a bit of breaking news this loan move was :S I was worrying all night about who might be going and then someone (who has hardly had a chance this season) goes on loan for a month! It weren't really worth the suspense.

Has Dickov gone to Middlesborough then or did that one not come off?

It's only football at the end of the day :D

Ian Stringer was only stating a fact he was aware of. Not his fault if some idiots jumped to conclusions and multiplied it by ten. And now these lunatics have the brass neck to slate HIM for it being Adams!!! Give me strength..................

I've 'met the fella'

I interviewed him fo a journalism assignment. Far from being arrogant, he gave me nearly an hours interview, and said if I ever wanted to get in touch with him again I was more than welcome to. He is by no means an arrogant person. I really think some people still judge him by his TV appearence.

I echo the sentiments above, the information was a fact, it was simply stated that there would be an announcement, that was then delayed due to footballing red tape, and it was down to others to spread the gossip about who it was, where they were going, that wasn't his fault.

HA! Is this the big move that everyone was talking about!?! Adams to Leyton Orient!?!

lol

I suppose I should be grateful... it could have been one of our top players going. :)

Was surprised it wasn't Gradel or Campbell. Would have been delighted to have seen on Stringer's twitter.
