Fox You Forest Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Nah got Wales on, not very good atm. Most interesting thing thus far is learning the ref has recently become a multi-millionaire after selling his company.
Narborough_fox Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 I still can't believe how Scotland are set up. Czech Republic do look shakey at the back though.
The Doctor Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 anyone know how to keep one window on top of all others when using a different window. I've got one window with this open and one with the scotland match, but every time i go to use this, the window disappears behind this (i'm on IE if that helps)
Matt Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Bloody hell Cardiff have more fans than Wales surely?!
Fox You Forest Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Very poor this Wales game, I wonder if in ten/fifteen years time we'll be saying that Bale is the best player to have never played at a World Cup since Giggs.

I'll try and find it later for future use. Wales should be one up by now from what I've seen. Not seen it all though. King would have buried that chance like a centre forward that Bale had a few minutes ago! ROI have got some work to do now, 2 down already. Fingers crossed for Scotland and N. Ireland aswell tonight.

We could be yes! I hope not though, it would be great to see Wales qualify. They've definitely got the potential to get there, they just need to get a good group draw next July
dandannieldanok Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Yesss Czech Republic, halle-fucking-lujah! A victory for football.
The Doctor Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 i believe this calls for a "phucks sake levein, be more attacking"
MC Prussian Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Hahahahahaha. We're a ****en shambles. Montenegro lead 1-0! Vucinic exploiting a sudden slip in our defensive setup. Our defence is laughable, the midfield non-existent and the strikers can't score for sh*t. Sound familiar? Too right. The match against Wales will be a delight for the football connaisseur. Not.
BoneDog Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 King has looked well up for it since he came on. Loved his header a few minutes ago to control the ball in the box! Morison should have probably scored a few minutes back after his good play to make the chance. I reckon there will be another goal in this game but it could go either way.
The Doctor Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 the match ended well, got a fair share of the ball and in the right areas, which begs the question, "What on earth was levein doing setting up that negatively against a fairly poor czech side?!!"

shen Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Two calamitous errors in two minutes by our most routined players and we're 2-0 down. Sørensen went off injured as well. Seems we've carried our brilliant WC form into this qualifying campaign... <_<
Lillehamring Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Another good result for drillo and norway, 2-1 awa y to cyprus. 3 wins from 3. if the portugal denmark result stays as it is, 5 points clear. would prefer denmark to sneak back to draw though
dandannieldanok Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 What's that? Montenegro win again to carry a 100% record into the England..................not bad for a terrible team Also a well done to Wales and Scotland, nice of them to allow Northern Ireland to keep the home nations fire burning.
Uncle Monty Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Went to the Wales game, was a pretty bad affair. Should have called Savage a twat when sitting near me. All of the welsh security guards were annoying but lothar matthaus was a pretty cool chap and Flynn was a nice guy as well. Kudos to the Bulgarian interpreters though, they were probably the most friendly people. Sorry, but in another shameful name-drop Rickets is a bit of a nob un'all trying to barge past us to get in the lifts although we had heavy equipment and were there first.
Anish Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Are we really surprised with Levein's tactics? He deployed the most dull and drab football I've ever witnessed as a Leicester fans and his teams are notoriously inept in the attacking third. How he's got to manage his country with his limited managerial ability I'll never know.
Corky Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Levein would not inspire confidence in me if I was a Scot. His post-match interview was reminiscent of his time at LCFC. Well done to Northern Ireland for claiming a point.

How he's got to manage his country with his limited managerial ability I'll never know. I never ever thought I'd say this, but I feel sorry for the Scottish fans. It was complete horror show, would have been an absolute travesty had Levein nicked a 0-0 out of it. I'll fully understand those tactics against a Spain or a Germany, but against what is now a very very mediocre Czech Republic, it was shameful. It was shameful to drop Kenny Miller full stop, never mind the tactics.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 October 2010 Posted 9 October 2010 If the Home Nations were to start tomorrow, I would stake everything I own on Scotland picking up the wooden spoon. They are absolutely woeful from front to back. Seems incredible that Craig Levein is manager but that just serves to show how far Scotland have sunk. God only knows what Spain'll do to them. Wales missed out on an opportunity tonight against a fairly average Bulgarian side, a victory could have given them a half decent stab at a play-off spot but they have an awful lot to do now before that can be considered. Fair play to Northern Ireland for a decent result tonight, would like to see them in a major tournament. South of the border, the Russians looked decent against ROI by all accounts but I still fancy the Irish to nick a play-off spot. England should have a fairly straight forward time against Montenegro on Tuesday, they seem like the kind of team who will be tougher on their own patch than away and the Swiss side they defeated tonight look a limited outfit.
