maddog Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 With 2 home games in a row now we can seriously stake our claim on that playoff spot. We are goal difference clear of Sheffield United, in 7th, but we have 2 games in hand on them. We could get clear enough of the chasing pack with 2 home wins here, to start dreaming of that playoff final at Wembley. We're playing Doncaster at a good time, 4 defeats on the spin in all competitions, losing at home to fellow strugglers Reading yesterday. So surely we will pounce on their bad form I just want to see another do or die performance a la Newcastle at home and hopefully we can score some goals and get some points. I rekon we may do that Tuesday, 2-1 win, Fryatt with both
lcfc"weasel" Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Should be an easy win, another performance like the one at Newcastle last weeek and Blackpool yesterday and I really can not see there being any real problems.
midfield Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 i predict a bore draw or a one nil defeat we are crap at home
Corky Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 We've improved a lot in the last week, Doncaster are struggling for form right now. If we continue our level of performance we should collect the points. 2-0 win.
Tilley Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I think our little blip is over and we are going to push on in the next few games, 3-0 win, Fryatt to score.
lou Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I'll be very disappointed if we dont win this! 3-0 N'guessen, Gally and Fryatts due a goal!
MikeyT Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I'm going for a scrappy 1-0 win for us. Fryatt with the only goal.
jonthefox Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Id totally forgotten this game was on. . 1-0 will do again...super dany!.
sdb Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 i'm going for a complacent performance and a dull 1-1 (so miserable, sorry)
dandannieldanok Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I reckon we'll sneak it ala the Barnsley and Blackpool home games earlier this season. Probably 1-0. i predict a bore draw or a one nil defeat we are crap at home Yea really crap: won 7 drew 4 lost 3 How terrible.

MC Prussian Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I like this setup. Two home games in succession, two games in hand against most teams in the league. Both Doncaster and Sc'unthorpe are on a patchy run as of recently. Doncaster have lost their last four home games, Scunny have turned their bad fortunes around a bit by beating QPR and Sheffield Wednesday, before losing out to Crystal Palace with one man down. Two wins in the bag, please. I'd certainly make up for our scrappy games and the points lost in January. I hope Pearson sticks with the Blackpool line-up because it is indeed the most effective.
nuttytimmy Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I think we are definitely in with a shout for a win, and should easily grab the three points... but something's nagging at me saying it's going to be a disappointing draw. I just hope I'm proven wrong!

I just hope I'm proven wrong! Settle for any win predict 2-0 Fryatt brace, and Nobby to star
ousefox Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Would like to see us try and get a big win in either this game or Scunny.
bluebeau Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I see us getting an early goal & so forcing Doncaster to come at us & we then go on to make it 3 or 4 nil. Not sure if Wellens ban was for 1 or 2 games, but if he is clear to play, I hope NP puts him on the bench. He has been fairly ineffective recently, so make him fight to get his place back Nige.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Fryatt needs a goal. I reckon it'll be a bit of a goalfest, 4-2 or something.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 Think we will win this and its vital we do. All of a sudden we have a very good chance to win three in a row as Scunny is another good game for us. Wont be easy but think we'll do it!
00rawat Posted 7 February 2010 Posted 7 February 2010 I think we can win this one and a few goals would be nice with this i don't think we have scored more then 2 goals in a match this season or have we?
