The 3-1 drubbing at the Walkers should be fresh in the players minds going into this one, therefore they should really get at Bristol City and try desperately for revenge and 3 points.

Sadly, after a 5-1 win, i can see us delivering a casual, lazy, complacent, crap performance, and playing for a draw basically. I can't remember us ever playing really well the game after a big win like that. I would be amazed and very pleased should we go for it and score some more goals.

Bristol City have drifted into the bottom half, and have lost their last two games 2-0, so they are there for the taking.

Even the most pessimistic LCFC fan will surely now realise, that with just 17 games to go for us, only 15 for 5 sides in the top 10, that the playoff place is ours to lose now.

1 point clear of 7th with 2 games in hand on Sheffield United, and Boro, Blackpool, Coventry who sit 8th, 9th and 10th place respectively.

To not make the playoffs now from this position would be a huge disappointment, and would take the gloss off an excellent season thus far which has seen us consistently up there in the playoff places despite some bad performances, and the two other promoted sides, P'Boro and Scunny, languishing 21st and dead and buried at the bottom of the table.

If you compare how we have done to them, you will see how well we have done, we could easily be where Scunny and P'Boro are now.

But we must take this chance, secure that playoff place and really create a major excitement and buzz about LCFC again, a playoff final win against Forest would be a dream.

I can't see anything other than a mediocre performance here though, if we defend well we may nick it 1-0, but i think it will be 1-1 which won't be too bad as long as we get another draw at Plymouth then beat Forest :D

We're sure to lose unless theres a bit more action in this topic :D

lol

I remember that night when we lost 3-1. Was dreadful, In my opinion the worst game this season. Worse than the forest one, as I enjoyed the day out. (Was distraught at the result though) It was a cold December night, with us all looking for a response to the Forest Result. I got home from the Bristol game, and was so fed up, I went straight to bed.

With Bristol City losing a bit of form, We're playing them at a great time. I hope we can get something from Ashton Gate. If we play how we did on Saturday, I'm sure we will.

3-0 City win. It's time for the push.

Gallagher, Waghorn, King.

4-2 Leicester Gallagher,Waghorn,Kermogant and Oakley I think a good performance from Leicester hopefully we wont be complacent after the 5-1 win.

Having suffered so much watching our unambitious excuse for football at Barnsley I've totally given up getting exciting or anticipatory about any Leicester match.

But having suffered such an ignominious defeat against Bristol at home I'd certainly hope our team will be fully focused and in the mood to exact a fitting revenge.

There is no reason for them not to play expansive football with attitude away from home because they are always well supported and clearly have the players to do it as trips to Blackpool, Queens Park Rangers and Reading fully demonstrated.

I'm going for 2-0 Leicester.

2-1 win with goals from King and Dyer.

Brizzle may be on a bad run of form but are still pretty decent at home (normally).

Draw i reckon, and i'd settle for that.

Wanted to go to this, can't now, 1-1 draw. We'll score in the last minute. It'll be awesome.

Pretty much guaranteed at Ashton Gate.

Leicester Win, resulting in Gary Johnson resigning in the morning. The quotes he has been giving to the local paper here are that of a fallen man which can't do much to inspire a team low in confidence (i.e. the first goal killed us, regarding Saturday's game).

They are fragile and there for the taking.

The play off place is ours to lose!?!

Come off it... 17 games is a LOT of matches in a season and to be saying that with such a long way to go that it's ours to lose is rather ridiculous.

That said, I hope we'll come out and continue from Saturday and win 2-0... but it could so easily go the other way in that we could get complacent, but lets hope not eh? :D

We were super last time out at Ashton Gate, I thought Holloway was taking us to the play-offs....

Repeat performance please. I am less confident now I've heard Berner needs a fitness test.

I think we can win but I daren't call things in this league anymore.

Any repeat of last time at Ashton Gate in terms of performance, result or atmosphere and it'll be one Hell of a night, can't wait.

They're on a bad run but except for the Cardiff game they haven't by all accounts been playing bad.

I think it'll be 2-1 to us but would't be surprised if they set their stall for a 0-0 as they did against Middlesbrough and hope to nick one on the break.

Had a dream last night that we won 3-1. Went a goal down, equalised after another 6 minutes and then went on to win. Lets hope thats true :D

I think I said in the points for February that this would be a defeat.

Sod that, I disagree now, think we can nick it.

2-1 victory,.
