Happened earlier, i was walking past the site of the burnt down Gatecrasher and was positive I left my towell heater on full whack. Walked back and no, all was fine...
FoxyPV Posted 4 March 2010 Posted 4 March 2010 No matter how much grief babies give you (not sleeping, crying all the time etc), when they look up at you and smile you will forget everything and just revel in that moment.

C-man Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 I consider myself to be a pretty smart guy but I was shocked to learn only last night that Pluto isn't a planet. Apparently it hasn't been classed as a planet for almost 4 years now, no idea what I was living under back then. I also learnt that a newly coined word that is bidding to be part of the mainstream language is called a neologism. Interesting stuff.
StanSP Posted 9 March 2010 Posted 9 March 2010 Learnt some pretty interesting stuff about the amygdala today in one of my lectures; a part of the brain (humans have 2) which aids memory functions. Males use their right amygdala and tend to remember 'the gist' of things they learn/remember Females use their left amygdala and tend to remember 'the details' of things learn/remember.
