Daggers Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 "But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Come on - get a grip. And what's with all the negativity?? You call yourself a City fan? You always seem to be quick to slag the team off but the minute we're winning, that changes as quick as Paris Hilton gets her knickers off! "We are screwed" ???? Ha, look at the table again and then tell me that. I can handle a defeat, but not when they don't even try. The effort from the team was poor, that's what I complain at. Noble defeats are acceptable, but if players show no passion, you have to call them out. Sorry. Just expressing what most fans are thinking, with the psychology at present, going into a CRUCIAL match against Cardiff and a difficult game at West Brom, it doesn't look good.
FoxyPV Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Will everyone relax? We are still in the playoff positions - automatic promotion is now out of sight but we can still do this. This is our bad patch and hopefully it will end on Tuesday aaway at cardiff..

Mikey Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Looked a shit game on the stream, neither side deserved to win.
Josh_Leicester Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 I have been reading the foxestalk boards for many years now, and even during the relegation season (and the ridiculous reactions that came with it!) i have yet to post so here goes! We are 6th in the Championship. 22 months ago our football team was relegated from the same division. Perspective is a word that comes to my mind... But we are where we are. People will say "but we were 4th", etc. We were, and I genuinely still believe that we will finish this season in that position. At half time at coventry I thought we had peaked too early, and i was correct. This is our dip in form before getting to the play off final (and thats pot luck anyway!). If forest, cardiff, swansea or even blackpool or sheff united have a dip in form now, they are gone and its too late for them to return to top form. I wish I had put some money on todays result because i had a feeling we weren't going to win today. Again, this is our dip. We will lose, or snatch a draw at cardiff, and draw with west brom, returning to our best. We needed this dip or we would fail in the play offs. Its not possible to maintain such a high level of play for such a prolonged period of time. We will still do this. To all the moaners out there, please just stay away. we really don't want you. I know you enjoy misery and enjoy having something to moan about and i totally understand that, but please can you go to the BBC forum, or some other similar, to do so as then you can all agree with each other in your doom and gloom. There's 7 games to go and we need everyone to pull together and support everything that the team do. If Nigel picks kermorgant again, then so be it. If its mcgiven, so be it. In nigel we trust.

Just expressing what most fans are thinking, with the psychology at present, going into a CRUCIAL match against Cardiff and a difficult game at West Brom, it doesn't look good. But how does that explain we are scewed? It's not as if we're getting relegated - that means we're screwed! I can understand comments about the players being negative and I agree to some extent (Oakley for example!) but coming out with comments like we're screwed is a bit excessive. And your first post was really negative and sounded like we're doomed - which we're totally not. Out next match isn't "CRUCIAL" - its just got a bit more at stake and gives a chance to hit back. We a little too predictable at the moment and we need to change things around a bit. It's definitely still our hands and with all the teams around us dropping points, panicking and being negative doesn't really help.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Oh Dear!! That was a bit of a bollock drop by Weale!! IF we win on Tuesday there is a SEVEN point gap and everything will be rosy again. I think we should all chill out and have a sandwich!!

Welcome to the forum! Agree with a lot of that post and definitely the bit about having the dip in form. As I said earlier, teams close to us will drop points so its still all to play for!
flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 If we get points off Cardiff, we'll probably be alright. Usually the big games makes Leicester play better. I'm pretty confident we can beat Peterborough and Watford, but after today, I'm not that sure!

flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 That doesn't even make sense. What doesn't make sense? I think most supporters would be confident in beating teams like Peterborough and Watford, but when you watch a shitty team like Derby neutralise us all over the park, it makes me question that confidence. You get what I mean?

flanimal Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Nonsense. We neutralised ourselves. You got a point. Didn't seem to have much of a gameplan today. The only way we would've scored is if Bywater decided to pass it into his own goal!
Ozwin Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Flanimal please just stfu. If we didn't put the ball in the goal for them, they wouldn't have. Both teams were poor.
Koke Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 We needed this dip or we would fail in the play offs. Its not possible to maintain such a high level of play for such a prolonged period of time. We will still do this. Very much so, Josh. Most people are not capable of comprehending this little fact.
Jonezy Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Ohhh, the life of a Leicester supporter.... You gotta love it. Its for days like this, that that good days feel so much better
