  1. 1. What do you prefer to wear at football?

    • The latest replica shirt, even if I have to put it over a hoodie in the winter to show my colours

Ive got one of the Black Loros away tops, I usually wear it for footy if I can find it.... its comfortable and hides the flab!

Didnt realise it was deemed "lame" by some.. couldnt give a toss either - At my age I am long past caring if someone doesnt like them.

replica shirt and jeans - sometimes a jumper.

Replica shirt varies depending on whats in the wash and whats first to hand in the shirt draw - sometimes city shirt, sometimes scotland shirt. At the start of the season i was using a ireland rugby top.

Ive never had a problem with that :giggle:

Only places I dont wear my colours are Cardiff and Forest. Did it once at Forest and got threatened by a "hard man" up the road from the ground. He was lucky I had my kid with me else Id have kicked his ass. <_<

I wear the colours, with a jacket in the winter.

Got a new scarf for Christmas, every game I've worn it at we've never lost, so I don't care how warm it is, I'm still wearing it

When i was younger about 10 i wore my Leicester shirt, but ever sinse ive gone casual. Depends what you are into really, some people are into the casual clothing and some people are not. To be honest though people over the age of 30 do look a bit ridicolous in replica shirts. As displayed by Peterborough you tend to get a lot of ****** in their Leicester shirts, as shown by the sitting section. In good sections of the ground like L1 everyone is in casual clothing.

We like to go round the centres for a few quiet beers and i just think its a tad easier without colours on. Saying that ill certainly be in colours if we get to Wembley !

Casual shirt and jeans is most common.

I rarely wear my replica shirt for games, but that isn't because of any shirter/scarfer divide. I just feel more comfortable in my normal threads to be honest. I very rarely wear colours away for the same reason as Sparky, I like being able to get into pubs when away. I might be struggling to get into pubs in Preston though. :D

There are however blatent connections with the terraces and seated sections yesterday in relation to atmsophere and their attire.

I'll often wear my city shirt to home games, not all the time though, especially if it's boiling/i want to go to a load of pubs afterwards due to them not letting football shirts in, away it's casual dress just because I like my pre-match away drinks without hassle.

Although I hardly ever wear colours, I don't really understand the hatred towards people doing so.

It wouldn't look great if teams came out to an entire stadium full of casual dress, players might not even be able to tell who are the home and away fans...

Where exactly is the harm in wearing the same shirt as your team's players?

If you watched the Pompey Spurs game earlier, the Pompey end was completely blue, looked great. That's what it should look like when we get there come May 22nd ;)

I'm one of these people who always likes to dress well be it at the football or wherever. Dark jacket for most games with a polo for when the weather is like yesterday or I fancy being a cold tit i.e. QPR, Boro, yeovil last season etc.

Not a fan of shirts/colour at all but it's people's choice at the end of the day. There are however blatent connections with the terraces and seated sections yesterday in relation to atmsophere and their attire.

I don't have a problem with colours per se, I just think the best way of showing them is through making use of scarves/flags/banners/smoke bombs () etc. rather than replicas.

Stick your Gazelles, put your windcheater on, have a daft hair-cut.

Don't have a problem with replica's etc. But it's on often a target for stick etc. on awaydays. Always buy one for having a kick-around in or for me holidays.
