Anything to do with fashion is an embarrassment in my opinion (apart from women walking down cat-walks with their nipples sticking out, I like that kind of fashion).

Fashion turns men into girls on the whole I think. I honestly think that many fashion 'designers' or whatever they are called are having a laugh in their little community and saying to eachother 'let's see what we can get the people to wear this season', or 'I'm gonna make 'em look like a right bunch of twats this Autumn'

I mean, come on, they've got blokes wearing fancy satin scarfs with a t-shirt IN-****ING-DOORS for crying out loud ! Blokes! Fancy girlie scarfs! Indoors! :crylaugh:

That said, it's casual all the way for me at football and has been for at least 14 years :D

I think you're missing the point, what people wear is not embarrassing it's the attitude of some fans on here to it and their holier than thou position and disparaging remarks about the quality, commitment, involvement of other Leicester City fans based on what they wear, where they sit, whether they sing for 90 minutes or not.

Seems you're not a 'real' fan unless you wear black and if you wear colours it's a case of fook off to some other team. Of course we all know the 'real' fans were in the terrace against Peterboro' chanting 'Start the Wave'rolleyes.giftongue.png

Yeah I know what you mean, I think all Leicester fans should be on the same side and support the club whatever they wear.

I just find fashion funny and thought this was a good chance to say something about the silly (in my opinion) trends that keep popping up in society! I love to take the pee out of new hair-do's and clobber that appear :D

The main reason I don't wear colours is because I like to stay out of trouble on me travels to and from games. I used to always travel on me own in one of those Leicester fisherman hats in the early 90's and got in a few scrapes so decided I was gonna give up showing who I support.

I miss that fisherman hat, I drew some Steve Walsh graffiti and a Union Jack on it with Leicester City written along the middle red stripe, it was a beauty.

I have mixed views on this, at home I always tend to wear my home shirt, not over my hoody or jacket though then away I always go casual just for the same reasons as the person above to avoide trouble. However if go to a home game with my mate as opposed to my girlfriend then I will go casual, dont know why its just what I always tend to do, probably because police look at you a diffrent way if you're with you're girlfriend and not a group of 20 year old lads.

Anyway UP THE CITY

That's no way to talk about the Real Fans of Leicester CityTM (self proclaimed).

I for one will die to defend the right of people that live with their parents to tell everyone else what to do

Bang on. what a stupid topic.

I wear colours, home or away, guess I'm not a real fan and I should hand me season ticket back then

Why do people go completely over the top with this 'real fan' bollocks?

No smoke without fire. At times it's a bit cringy on both sides of the fence, that's why I just sit on it when it comes to this sort of issue.

On the one hand you've got people going a bit OTT with the "real fan" stuff but then on the other side you've got people who seem to have some sort of superiority complex because they don't wear colours and stand all game.

Not to forget the ones who take it a bit further and seem to wish they were around in the 80's when people were kicking lumps out of each other dressed in Stone Island. Thing is that was pretty much a cultural movement back then with real influences, a lot of it nowadays is just kids giving it the big one because they think it's cool.

Yeah, I was just kind of interested in what people like to wear. No ulterior motive.

But if you all feel like turning it into another shite "real fans" debate, by all means...

I wear my City shirt to any game that i attend, and frankly i didn't even know this was such a heated topic. I always just thought of it as showing my support to the club, showing that i'm a City fan etc etc. I don't wear it at any other time though, only when playing sport/at a football game. Sport clothing really isn't my style.
