Early goal would be very handy in this game. Watford will definitely come to sit back and hit us on the break, if we take the lead early doors they will be forced to have a go, and consequently, we will destroy them.

I stand by my earlier prediction, 4-0 city. :)

I'm praying you hammer them and drag them back in it at the bottom. :( It's beginning to look pretty grim for us.

you're still ,what a point off Palarce, and still to play them.

You shouldn't need us to stick watford in trouble if you're that close to 21st right?

The more teams that are still in it the better for us, but I agree it's probably going to be between us and Palace.

I was confident not so long ago but that is waning fast. I think we need 6 points out of 9 to survive now. If we lose to the Pigs and Cardiff, and Palace pick up a couple of points or more in their 2 games we are doomed no matter what happens on the last day of the season. So basically we have to win the derby match because it's almost guaranteed we'll lose at Cardiff.

 We took 6 points off Blackpool so do us a favour.

Was going to drag up the Posh post-match thread for this but thought better of it. I forgot to mention at the time what a great sport Joe Lewis (Posh keeper) was, returning our chants of "Lewis, start the wave", even whilst losing 2-1. I know many would consider this unprofessional but to be honest, I severely doubt it affected his concentration on the game and seemed to me like a great show of sportsmanship (or should that be supportersmanship?). In much the same way as Warnock showing us his arse against QPR, I really saviour such moments as a footy fan; not really sure why, they just make me feel "warm inside" I guess.

Anyone remember Bristol Away last season, when we started chanting "Nigel, knock him out!" about the ref, and he turned round with brilliant raised eyebrows as if to say "if only...". Same kind of thing. Absolutely love it!

Anyway as for tomorrow's game I (massively regrettably) can't be there, but feel that, despite it's one of those games we 'should' win (Sheff Wed away, Posh at home etc) the players will do the same as last week and perform professionally, if not world-beatingly. Would gladly take another 2-1, with Howard on the scoresheet, and perhaps Vaughan (he really should have got one last week to be fair, and so is well due).

It won't be easy, but for those of you at the Walkers stick by them whilst I'm fretting away with my phone internet. We need to show we're genuine contenders for promotion in a game like this. :scarf:

EDIT: The bit in bold doesn't mean I saviour the sight of Neil Warnock's arse, although I'm sure it's lovely...

If we win and Blackpool and Reading lose, surely it would see our playoff place sealed? .. On the pitch, On the pitch, On the pitch ..

We need Middlesborough to lose aswell! :scarf:

If we win Reading can't catch us.

We need to win, Blackpool lose, and Middlesbrough lose or draw (on BBC after our match).

Going today.

What's the parking like?

You should feel pretty confident of a home win given our away forum and whilst we've pick up a few decent results in the last few games we're stil lacking some key players.

Oddly we've not lost a game after going in front BUT only won one once going behind which says something about the mentally of our team.

We will win this game. The margin by which we do so will largely depend on how cautious NP plays it tactically.

Should we go out all guns blazing, which we should be doing on a more regular basis at the start of games, I reckon it'll be 4 or 5 at least. If not, which more often than not happens, it'll be a tense 1-0 win.

For some reason today's game reminds me of the game which we won 3-0 on our relegation from the premiership when we had Muzzy in the team.

The sun is out, as it was then, so I'm hopeful of a big win. :scarf:
